END OF ROUND
Quote:Time seemed to slow down. Without warning, Bardock began to dive at his opponent, a look of pure determination plastered on his face. He had gotten this far on that alone, and it would always be his saving grace. No matter what happened to him, he wouldn't be overcome. He wouldn't let himself be beaten, even if it was by his own heart. Time slowed to the point where he was almost frozen in mid-air. He'd had enough.
Bardock came towards the demonic figure, the one who had caused so much pain in his mind in such a short time. His fist was up, ready to behead the monsterously evil man.
Then he blinked.
When he saw the Watchman standing there, Bardock spun to the side, landing oddly on his side and grunting painfully. The sudden jolt had sent him sprawling into the floor. "Ugh..." he said, trying to get up.
"Have you learned yet, Bardock?" Asked the old man. "What it is you fear?"
"I fear...nothing."
"That is not correct."
Bardock turned around to face the wise figure. His breathing quickened.
"I fear...my emotions."
The Watchman smiled. Bardock had passed.
