True. Well, sorta. The universe is claimed to still be expanding currently. However, it's believed that its rate of expansion is slowing down, and will eventually stop all together. Well, it's all a matter of opinion. If you believe in a big-bang creation (religiously or not) of the universe, this is what's believed. If you believe something else created the universe, then I guess this doesn't apply.
