Round 1: Shadow Assassins Vrs. Team Quantum
#5
Seventeen, who was pumped about experiencing this new game, ?Breakball,? had decided that he would take on the role of the goalie. It appeared to be one of the most important positions on the team to the hell fighter. If one of the bols happened to get past his fellow teammates, it would be up to the android to make sure that the other team did not score. He was their last line of defense, and he thus must be ready for any situation.

However, it appeared as though this was not the exciting position he thought it out to be. All of the action was happening in the middle of the field, with the wingmen and the forwards; not quite what Seventeen had expected upon choosing to be the goalie. ?Well, this sucks,? said the robot as he dropped to the ground. Sprawling his legs out, he leaned back and supported himself with his arms behind his back. ?I need some action, and I need it now,? said the hell fighter, blowing some of his raven-black hair out of his face. Looking on as blows were being dealt and bols were being knocked form person to person, the humanoid took his hands off of the ground and allowed his body to fall toward the ground. His eyes looked up and gazed at the stasis field that surrounded the area.

Seventeen soon became dazed as he watched profoundly at the reverberations of energy that made up the dome. He soon went into the ?zone,? where his senses blocked out most outside environments and he was also no longer aware of the field, which he was staring straight at.

?Seventeen!? shouted a voice from across the arena, but it fell upon deaf ears. ?Seventeen!? This time, the android broke out of the trance and his upper body leapt up. Upon raising his torso, the humanoid soon saw that one of the bols was coming fro him. There was not enough time to distinguish which of them it was?there wasn?t enough time to get out of the way. The large, metallic sphere struck the robot right on the abdomen, which sent him sprawling backwards. He clasped his hands around the bol, but it was to no avail as it had achieved to high of a speed for it to be slowed down by the humanoid. As he was flung backwards, though, it had become apparent that it was the titanium one. Seventeen continued to pump ki into the bol to send it the other way, but he soon realized that his efforts were futile.

After mere moments of traveling, the robot eventually struck the end of the stasis field, which stopped him and the bol at the same time. With the pair?s collective momentum being distributed to the rest of the planet, they were now falling towards the ground with a low amount of velocity. Once the android had fallen upon the ground, he began to be fueled with energy; there was finally some action. Seeing that much of the others were trying to get the katchin sphere, he began to bring froth an obscene amount of energy.

Once Seventeen felt that there was enough ki within his hands, he began to transfer it all to the bol which he held. Allowing a grin to overcome him, he aimed towards one of the goals on the opposing side of the arena and allowed the sphere to be sent away.

Its speed started out at a great velocity, just as it was when it struck the humanoid, who needed to briefly go into his time forty state to be able to withstand the force.
