?Nyaromon!? Terra shouted.
?I?m Salamon now!? replied the strange new creature. It held a confident grin. ?It?s time to teach this guy a lesson.? The puppy looking digimon leapt forward and shot one of its paws forward. ?Petit Punch!? it cried and sent Flymon slamming into a tree. Pine needles showered downward, but the new digivolved rookie charged in without pausing. ?Petit Punch!? it sent another whack into the bug digimon. Flymon knew when he was beat, the fight had gone on long enough and even he was tired. Angry, but too tired, he hovered above Terra and Salamon and flew off with an irritating buzz. Terra pushed her hands against her ears until the insect creature was gone. What a horrible sound.
?We did it, Terra!? Salamon jumped into Terra?s arms. ?I digivolved again! This is my rookie form.? The teen was baffled, but happy nonetheless.
?You sure showed him, Salamon. I think I liked you as a cat, but you?re still cute.? the red head poked at one of her friend?s ears. ?Let?s get off this snow and try and find a new camp.? she set Salamon down and got up while dusting snow and pine needles off of her lap. ?I guess you can walk now,? she chuckled, ?you?re too big for my head.?
?Oh well, I?d get fat if I sat on your head all the time, then I wouldn?t be so cute.? it replied. They both laughed and started back to trekking through the snow. ?I?m glad I digivolved, Terra,? the teen looked down; ?I can protect you better now.? she smiled. Things in this new world weren?t so bad, it beat being home and getting sent to boarding school.
