?Ok, I take this as a sign.? Terra looked upward. Large drops of water were descending from the sky. It was getting warmer, which was a relief; her feet were beginning to get numb. The snow was getting slushy and was soaking through her boots. Salamon was getting her fur soaked as well, but the digimon simply continued onward without complaint. The snow had been coming down in large flakes, but as the continued it had become rain. She felt soaked to the bone, and was beginning to shiver. ?Maybe we should find shelter, this rain is ridiculous.? her partner agreed, they began to search for somewhere to get away from the rain.
It took a while but eventually they found an overhanging cliff. It was similar to a cave, but not very deep. Terra huddled against the wall and hugged her knees. Her teeth chattered in the silence. Salamon moved closer and pressed against the teen?s legs, trying to help warm her. ?I?ll be ok, we just have to wait out this rain.? she blew into her hands to warm them. ?Man it sure came in quick, huh? First it was harmless snow, and then it came down as rain.?
?Anything can happen in the Digiworld, you?ll get used to it.? Salamon replied. She was ciurled up ontop of Terra?s feet.
?I wish I knew why I was here. Its fun and you?re cool, and a good friend. I just don?t get it. Why me?? she set her forehead on her knees. ?I wouldn?t mind a cigarette right now, either.? she groaned.
?What?s a?cigarette?? asked the innocent pup.
?It?s nothing, just a useless thing back home, I don?t need it.? Terra lifted her head and smiled down at Salamon. ?It?s just an addiction, something I crave, but I was only using it for a few weeks.? she leaned her head back and set it against the stone wall. She kept asking herself still, why was she here? When would she get answers?
