The rain finally let up; while the rain had been pouring they had taken a nap. Now it was time to set out again. ?We?ll go on for a while and as soon as we find another suitable camp we?ll sleep again until morning.? Terra reasoned. She stood up and stretched, her foot got a camp in it and she had to rub it out.
The night sky showed stars in all directions. None of them looked the same as back home; the constellations were all messed up. She gazed up at them as she walked though, they were pretty. As her eyes roamed the sea of stars she noticed a darker section in the sky. She peered harder and noticed that it was not a part of the sky, it looked to be a mountain of sorts.
?What?s that mountain?? she pointed.
?That?s Infinity Mountain, it?s at the center of the island.? Salamon replied. Was there anything of interest there? Maybe they should head toward it. Well, first they had to get to warmer territory.
Their journey went on, and as tiredness sank in, they found a suitable tree to camp in. The roots were arching out of the ground, it gave a hallow place to rest in. Terra nestled into a cubby formed of leaves and roots while Salamon found a comfortable spot in her lap. ?I noticed there?s less snow, I see dirt and grass. I guess we?re on the edge now. Let?s search for some food in the morning and then continue on our adventure.? Salamon agreed and nuzzled against Terra?s arm. She closed her eyes and tried to get some rest.
