[File Island] One Strange Adventure

Morning came fast; it felt as if only a few hours had passed. Immediately Terra went on search for food. The ground was mostly mud and grass now, the sun was out and drying things around her, but clumps of mud still stuck to her heels. She found a few grasses that looked editable, and some berries from flourishing trees not far away from their camp. Salamon was still sleeping, so she was hoping to surprise her with some food. If she had known she?d be going on a trip she would have brought more than chips with her. Running away was one thing, but gong on a possible lifetime journey was another. Terra sighed and reached for another root when something red sprang from the thick grasses.

?Hey what do you think you?re doing!?? Terra screamed and fell back, her gathering of berries and grasses fell to the ground. ?Oh ho, look what we have here, a girl.? The creature had to be another digimon, but it was awful looking. It resembled a squash, but was as red as a hot pepper. Each arm was vein-like with a large spiked club on each end. It had a cool male voice, like it was the top vegetable around, what a jerk. ?I?ll teach you to grab at unsuspecting vegetables.? it raised a clubbed hand and made to smash down at her. Terra raised her arm and cried out, but nothing happened.

?Petit Punch!? Salamon dived in and nailed the vegetable in the face. He slid a few feet away and shook his club like hands. ?Be careful Terra, that?s RedVegiemon, he?s a hot headed digimon.? Salamon stood facing the foul digimon and guarding her human companion.

?This guy looks tougher than that Flymon we fought, you think we can take him?? RedVegiemon didn?t look like he would give up easily. All she had wanted was some food. Why were some digimon so mean? Terra bit down on her bottom lip and crawled away from the two digimon. ?Be careful Salamon.? she said.

?I?ll teach this guy a lesson he won?t forget.? Salamon narrowed it?s eyes and hunched forward some, getting ready to attack.

?I don?t think so! Poison Ivy!? Out shot his club arms and snagged Salalmon. The dog-like digimon cried out and struggled in RedVegiemon?s grip. Terra charged in and began beating the vegetable monster with her pack. She shouted vulgarities all the while, he was forced to let go of her friend. The world flew by as a spiked club was sent into her gut and she was sent slamming into a bush. ?Annoying brat!?
