?Lightening Paw!? Terra opened her eyes, the pressure of the veins loosened and she could feel precious oxygen flowing into her lunges. She gasped as she hit the ground, her fingers curled against the dirt and grass. She was free, but it suddenly hit her, why? She glanced upward and looked in awe. Her digimon had digivolved again. It was no longer a puppy-like creature, now it resembled a cat. Long pointed ears protruded from it?s head, while a slender tail flicked from behind. Its paws were concealed by strange gloves, but it still had many sharp claws.

The new creature fought against RedVegimon with vigor. Terra watched in surprise until the red digimon was sent running in retreat. She continued to stare in bewilderment even as the cat-like digimon came closer and introduced itself. Terra noted that its voice was kind of sultry; resembling a cat, with the r?s kind of emphasized. She shook her head; it was not only that, this digimon sounded female, the others she had been unsure of.

?Hello Terra, I?m Gatomon.? The teen shook her head again. ?I?m Salamon?s champion form.? She, as Terra decided it was a girl, was not exactly any bigger. The only difference really was that Gatomon walked on two legs and not four. Of course, she was obviously stronger now.

Suddenly the creature flashed and changed. Terra watched as her new digimon became Salamon once more. She looked tired, so Terra reached over to pick her up. It seemed that digimon needed energy to digivolve, or stay that way. She carefully picked up her fallen berries and roots before returning to their temporary camp. They both needed to rest, her ribs still hurt from that fight.
