They traveled for a long time. The land was their refrigerator?in a way. They ate what they could find, and fought whatever stood in their way. Terra got to know that Salamon was not just someone to protect her, but she was also a friend. She was smart, and knew many things. It was like she was a human, but not. Most of all, the teen really liked her friends champion form. She was slightly disappointed that it was strain on her friend to stay that way, but as a fighter she was much more powerful as Gatomon. They did meet a few friendly digimon, but some were not very helpful.
On this particularly bright afternoon the duo were enjoying the digital sunlight and the warm breeze. The grassy hill was perfect for lying down and letting the sun beat down on them. Not long after they had settled into their lazing position, a strange digimon spoke to them. The red haired girl shot upwards and looked toward the disturbance. It was a bird-like digimon with a lefty posterior.
?You two look lost.? It said. Terra looked down at Salamon. ?You need any help?? it sounded intelligent, and by its voice, it was probably male.
?Actually, you wouldn?t happen to know the right way toward Server would you?? she spoke.
?Oh,? he seemed stunned, ?well, actually, you can disembark from a beach near here.? He paused. ?You?d need a way to get there though, like a boat, or a raft.? Terra had been excited, but then she realized she had no boat.
?You wouldn?t happen to know anyone who could help with that, would you?? she asked in her sweetest voice.
?There are a few local digimon, I?m sure they?d help you if I asked. I?ve got no problem helping a stranger, you look so helpless.? Salamon was about to jump at the last comment but Terra held her down.
?Oh, gee, thank you so much.? The human batted her eye lashes.
