Aurora swept the creature into her arms, and sprightly carried her over to the slide. They waited as the other children took thier turns, and then decended the slide's stairs themselves.

Sitting on the shiny platform, she fixed Vixi on her lap and asked, "Ready?"

The creature smiled, a gleeful glint in its bulbus eyes. "Yeah!"

They took off, sliding swiftly down the 30 foot long length of the slide, feet touching down at the bottom. Vixi hopped from her arms and danced for a moment, her laughter like tinkling bells filling the air.

Aurora was happy she could bring such a feeling from teh creature, only moments ago, she had been trapped in a cage, shivering, down hearted. Now Vixi was hers, and she wasn't going to let her go.

After playing for another hour, they headed from the park into the city, talking idly and watching as the morning turned to afternoon, and the first pangs of hunger swept over them. Stomachs growling, they settled for a coney apeice from a street vendor, and water for Vixi, Dr. Pepper for Aurora. They finished their meal over by the local mall, a massive stretch of stores that offered everything one could think of, all at discount prices. It was one of Auroras favorite spots. She got an idea.

"Hey, have you ever been to the theater?" She asked her creature.

Vixi thought for a moment, and shook her head. "No...can't say I have."

"Well," Aurora smiled, getting to her feet. "You will now."

And off they headed into the mall, and the first bonds of digimon and owner had begun to concrete themselves between Aurora and her Viximon. For once, they each felt complete, their best friend found, and they were now inseperable.
