Ryu (SF) vs Goku (DBZ)

Of course Goku's not a complete badass - he's not supposed to be. He's a little dim, naive and too trusting. He could blow up the planet if he wanted to ... but he never would, he's too kind-hearted. That's the whole Goku paradox.

If beams can be deflected by a smaller beam, then wtf are beam struggles for? Stronger beams overpower weaker ones - that's made pretty clear in all of DBZ. Not only that, but Goku can punch through walls. It's not just the beams

Ryu comes from a universe where there are limits to how strong humans can get. Goku comes from one where there are no limits. No hate to Ryu and all ... but Goku would win.
