OOC: This is after the supposed storyline of my PS, Inside the Mind
Dante's Abyss? Again? The konat warrior stood among the man men in West City when the announcement was broadcasted by people passing by in a large truck with large speakers which were connected to loudspeakers throughout the city. Tapion followed the throng of people towards the building in which the signups were. There was what seemed like a never-ending counter with many assistants helping these mere humans to join the tournament.
They wont get in once my abilities are displayed here...
"Tapion?" There was a voice of a woman. "Oh my god! It's him! The mohawked guy from the last Dante's Abyss!"
The konat's dark eyes shifted to his rigth where there was a counter were several girls were gawking at him. He felt akward. They knew him?
"We saw you on TV! You did amazing but could have done better. Come, come, sign up with us!"
Their current customer was being pushed to the side, disgruntled, he looked at Tapion walking towards him. The place went silent besides whispers of who the warrior was as all eyes were on him. A piece of paper was placed infront of him. The lady pointed to a line to sign, "sign here".
Doing so, the lady continued to explain the situation to Tapion, "Now you must realize only forty-four people are going to get in. If you get in, you are one of the lucky few. But we know you will get in, we just have a feeling you will. Now come with me."
The lady continued to inform him on the situation as he was taken to a chamber with an airlock in it. He was told he was going to have pictures taken of him.
"Um...ok.." Was his only reply.
"Don't worry, we need pictures of you and then for you to show us your abilities. It will decide if you get in or not."
There was only a shrug as Tapion held his arms out and did a full 360 degree turn while the woman clicked her camera repeatedly.
"Now show us moves of yours..."
Needs to do things impressive then... A smile crept on his face as he brought his hand back, cocking it, with his palm opens and fingers spread. The woman taped him and took pictures while orbs charged up along his fingertips and around his hand.
"I will just use a weak version of one of my attacks, then."
She smiled and nodded gleefully as three terrifying words were screamed out.
"FIVE FINGER FLASH!"
His hand short forward, palm still open and fingers still spread and the many orbs created shot forward. Instantly he started to close his hand and he then did another gesture and the orbs stopped in place. The woman watched in awe as he controlled the orbs, bunching them together and moving them around and spreading them apart. Then at the least expected second, he closed his fist, all the orbs exploding at once, letting smoke take their place.
"I think that is good enough for now. Very interesting. I can't wait to see you next time!" The woman smiled as she led him to a door for a tube. "This is where you go."
To her amazement, he said nothing, stepped in, and left. It was time.
