As her surroundings fazed in around her, Violet began to realize that she had been transported outside of some building that loomed dark and cold behind her. It was only a few meters away, and she could see a giant board with names written on it in white chalk. The silken energy of the teletube died around her, and she walked out from the veil of fading light. She had arrived. But where, was the million dollar question.
Blue skies greeted her from above, a few fluffy clouds wisping in the blanket of azul; golden sunshine spilled down to touch the surface of the planet, so warm and inviting. Smells of food and flora touched her nose, and the chattering of people could be heard all around the building. In a sense, it reminded her of Earth, the central hub of her hometown, South City, when she used to go downtown for Carnival every summer. There was one vital difference, though: this wasn?t Earth.
She filtered through a group of people, soon reaching the massive board, where she could see her name at the bottom of the list; she wondered for a moment how in the hell her name had gotten up there, but figured that the interviewer she had seen on Vegetasei had already dispatched her information over.
Skimming the list of entrants, she saw a few familiar names: 17, her leader, Goku, the Saiyan she had met on Vegetasei, and Thirteen, The sight of which made her want to toss her cookies, either that or go throttle somebody. Does this guy ever stop stalking her? Her eyes finally saw Kid Buu?s and that idiot Bebi?s, whom she had hated with a severe passion, Minoshia, and then, her eyes stopped at Super Buu?s name. He was here? She hadn?t gotten the chance to follow through with her promise back on Vegeta, and seeing him here brought a bittersweet joy that made her insides curl up. So she would be able to see him, after all?he still had a boot waiting to meet his pink, gooey ass.
Shaking her head, her deep purple locks brushing away from her bare shoulders, she moved away from the signup?s list, and looked onto the messages section. Written at the bottom, in bright blue chalk, it read:
Interesting. She wondered what in the world a collar demonstration was, but was tempted to find out anyway. Looking at the date, Violet realized that the collar demonstration was today, so perhaps she should just wait for it, so she didn?t miss out, or maybe she would wander around, get to know her surroundings. She opted for the latter. Surely, there would be some kind of announcement to let contestants know the event was about to take place. This would give her the chance to find out who all was here, as well, and she liked the idea of meeting back up with her clan mates.
So, with visions of Super Buu getting kicked in the ass dancing in her head, she wandered off, hoping to find someone she knew.
