Well, so much for that idea? The human thought dryly to herself. Of course, she was blitzed out of her mind, and even though the whole flashing idea was ingenious, she had to think for a minute if the hulking pink guy would actually know what breasts were. How much contact would he have had in the past with females, anyway? As far as she knew, none, and thus the theory of distracting by flashing were shot out of the atmosphere.
The poor guy was sporting a half assed glazed over look, a lazy smile twisting his thin lips. She could smell the alcohol wafting from his breath as he panted heavily a few inches from her face. Her and Kid had to support him all the way to the park, where the attendants were too busy with their own affairs to pay any attention to the inconspicuous group stumbling in.
They set their inebriated clansman under a tree not too far away; it was getting too tiresome to keep supporting him for much longer. Violet and Kid Buu sat down around him, creating some kind of sloppy circle.
Suddenly, the majin tipped his head to the side, holding his temple. The look he held was pained, and Violet couldn?t help but smirk.
?That?s what you get for trying to act like a fool. Now you have to live with it. Next time, recognize you will never outdrink me.? She said spitefully. Vi wasn?t feeling all too hot herself, the spasming in her stomach was making her rethink the wisdom of drinking almost three bottles of E&J, and that was just by herself. Kami knows how much they actually did drink, but she had a feeling it was going to make itself known like a hooker in the middle of Amish country.
?Shut up, douchebag.? He spat, rubbing his temples. Yeah, he was feeling it. She couldn?t help but smile.
Leaning back in the soft grass, propping herself up with her arms, Violet looked up into the night sky. It looked so real, with the twinkling stars and the moon covered by generated clouds. She thought she overheard someone say it was artificial, but even if she were sober, it still looked real enough to her. The first pangs of homesickness swept through her, and she couldn?t help but feel sad. She missed her home, she missed her dog, hell, she even missed that asshole across the street who, if she didn?t get to it first, always took her parking spot.
The rainy days when the sky let loose its torrents and pinged off her shingled roof while she sat in the bay window was something that she wouldn?t forget, snuggled in the small space big enough for only one with her teddy bear had to be the last time she felt safe. She didn?t have to depend on anyone except for herself, and as long as she made it to and from her waitressing job every day, she was fine. That was no longer the case anymore.
Late at night, when she finally powered down for sleep, she wondered how exactly it came to be that she got in this predicament. How could this curse that left her homeless turn into a blessing in disguise? Being reunited with her clan mates had assured her somehow that everything would be alright, that her predicament with the android was nothing but a horrible nightmare, and they would swoop in and snatch her away from the drama that was Android Thirteen. With Super and Kid back in the picture, everything seemed like it was going to be alright.
Heaving a sigh, she finally laid back in the grass, the cool blades crushing under her bare back, cushioning her soft skin. She hadn?t bothered with putting her shirt back on, it was too damn hot for that. She was covered enough though, and with as drunk as she was, she really didn?t give a fuck what anyone thought.
?So, if everyone is sober enough to answer, how have you guys been since I left?? Her soft voice smashed away any thoughts of intoxication, and she was glad that she was clear headed enough to talk straight. It was good to be back among friends, even if they weren?t human.
