OOC: This starts out as a dream...which will impact her in teh future.

Quiet. It was the only word that could be described about the black space. Nothing stood out, nothing caressed her soft, naked skin. Darkness was her only clothing, folding her in its warm embrace as she moved through the thick space, her body moving as if she were chest deep in a river, the water churning against her body to keep her from advancing forward.
?Mother??
Her head darted around, deep violet locks swished around her bare shoulders. ?Hello?? She didn?t recognize her own voice?it sounded as if it were being thrown from a long tunnel, and just now reaching her ears. She recognized that small, disembodied voice.
?I am here?? It came again. ?Can you hear me??
?I can. Where are you?? She remembered the cornflower spill of the child?s hair, the bright, blue eyes as they bore into Violet?s. The dream had been months ago, but she remembered it as if she lived it just moments ago.
Suddenly, a face emerged from the darkness, just inches from her body. The soft features were her own, as if she were looking on a smaller version of herself. Yet, it wasn?t Nathaniel?s eyes staring back at her. They were silvery, knowing?she recognized those eyes?they weren?t Violet?s nor Nate?s?
?No?NO!!!!!? She screamed, recoiling from the smiling child. She couldn?t run anywhere, the force of the darkness was too thick for her to do much of anything.
?So, you finally figured it out?? The knowing voice spoke softly. The child closed its all too familiar eyes, and chuckled. ?He is still alive, Mother. You have to give him a chance.?
?No.? Violet said firmly. ?No I do not.?
?Mother?you must?or you will be lost to your own evils.?
?What the hell is that supposed to mean?? Violet said, horrified. Things were getting a little too real for her. Way too real.
?This isn?t a dream, mother. This is a revelation. Wake up??
Violet paused. ?What??
?Wake up, Violet??

Her eyes snapped open, and she could feel the icy cold sweat as it pearled across her brow. Her breath was heavy, rapid pants as she bolted upright, her gaze focusing on the child like pink face in front of her.
?What in the hell?!? She exclaimed, pushing away from the bed.
Kid Buu looked at the woman curiously. He hadn?t seen a human in the midst of a nightmare before. He had to wonder what exactly was going on in her head that made her shout so despondently in her sleep. It was a cry that seemed wrenched from the depths of the woman?s soul, embodied in sound that tore from her throat in the throes of the dream.
?It was a dream;? He said softly, placing one thick fingered hand on hers. It was Dunham, she thought. Had to be. Kid Buu said he had changed; perhaps Dunham had given the majin the ability to sympathize, for she hadn?t known him to be able to before.
Her gaze darted away from Kid?s red rimmed eyes. ?Of course.? She said dismissively before taking to her feet. Sighing, she lifted her anguished blues to Kid?s hardened face. ?We need to get out of here. I can?t sleep anymore?not?not with these nightmares.?
Kid nodded understanding, and the duo moved in silence to the lounge, where the bustle of other contestants were gathered, all psyched up as the time for the real game drew closer.
Deep within her heart, Violet was ready. The only thing was?was she ready to face the possibility of death?or better yet, the android known as Thirteen?
