Seventeen had only been participating in Dante?s Abyss for a few minutes when the namekian decided to drop in on his fun. Luckily, the android had scared away the savage, card-wielding alien using the energy-based rocket launcher that he received as his starting weapon. With that fast-paced encounter behind him, the machine-hybrid picked up his satchel of supplies, slung the rocket launcher over his shoulder, and started toward the forest. He wanted to quickly get out of the area to prevent any of the other contenders from ambushing him as well. The cybernetic warrior had only run a few hundred feet when he took a short break to actually assess the situation.
From his surroundings, it was apparent that he had been deposited in a deep forest region. The moon wasn?t visible, so Seventeen could deduce that it was probably at least sometime in the wee hours of the morning. Running a hand under his chin, the android noticed for the first time that a collar had been placed around his neck. The presence of a security band around his throat brought with it more memories of Friend or Foe: Memories that sent shivers down his spine. When he let his elevated hand fall down to his side, Seventeen noticed the wound inflicted by the namekian?s card. It was a surface wound?more like a paper cut if anything, but the fact remained that it still hurt. The android hadn?t caught the alien?s name, but he was sure that if he encountered him again there would be hell to pay. Nevertheless, the machine-hybrid quickly swallowed down his fears, picked up his sleek weapon, and pressed onward.
Seventeen continued his trek through the trees until he finally emerged the forest into a tiny clearing. He stepped over the thick shrubs and found himself on a rather thin path that ran the course of the clearing he had stepped into. Slinging the archaic sack over his shoulder, the android tensed up his trigger finger as he slowly started down the trail. His journey was a rather short one, and soon enough he was standing in the shadows of a rather large structure. The building seemed rather old in nature, but before Seventeen could take the time to properly scan the structure, he heard some branches snap behind him.
