The Afternoon was much the same as the Morning before it. Hot and sticky. Now, though, there weren't any birds twittering about in the trees and such, for which Krillin silently thanked the Kais. Any more of that, and he was sure to go insane, and as he guessed, it was a lot harder to hide while insane than while sane. Krillin was very sane, and Krillin was hiding.
DA had seemed like a gorgeous idea. Bring back memories of old times, the thrill of the competition, adrenaline and all, but he was wrong. It was dirty. Like camping, but more annoying. No bugs, thankfully, but still quite messy and...inconvenient. Yes, that was it. DA was inconvenient. While taking a crap in an inconvenient cathole, it was all too easy for someone to strike at you inconveniently, and said force you to make an inconvenient defense. Krillin did his best to keep his turds together as much as possible. He had the foresight to poop some out before he got teleported, but he was already starting to fill up.
For now, he had decided to stay put. The troubling thing about his surroundings was the heavy blanket of background noise. He couldn't tell if someone was sneaking up on him or if he was, indeed, all alone. He hoped for the later. Obviously, he would very much have liked to meet up with Twenty, but he didn't want to bet on him for a visitor. He'd already been dropped in on by a chainsaw-wielding maniac, and that was enough excitement for one day.
For now, he was simply scoping out a good spot to make camp. With any luck, the rest of the warriors would follow the normal sleeping patterns at night time.
Wistful thinking, of course, but he clung to it as strongly as he could.
