Tapion listened to the new announcement as he waded in the water, his brother laid on the beach catching the last of the sun rays. The danger zones were all given and hearing them, he looked to his brother calling out to him.
"Check the map for where we are, I don't want to die because of these lame danger zones!"
The younger konat scrambled to his feet and ran to the hiding place of their items. He pulled out one of their maps and used the fading light to check where they were using the landmarks around them. After covering the itmes back up he walked over to the water again.
"Nah, we're safe don't worry, bro!"
"Cool, just making sure."
The dark eyes looked away right after, scanning the water below him. They had been relaxing for the last hour and Tapion hadn't caught a fish yet. He stood calmly as he brother turned to watch him. A sense of happiness actually overwhelmed the younger konat and the pressure was on the older one as he wanted to feel more manly and actually get the fish.
The lengthy hand raised slightly as an average size fish swam by. This was it. It circled the konat and on it's second go around, the hand slammed forward, breaking through the surface. Tapion's hand gripped the slippery animal and gripped it so it couldn't get away, instantly crushing it and killing it as he pulled it out. He threw it to his younger brother who wasn't expecting it and a laugh came from the older of the two as the fish slapped into Minoshia's face.
After giving an irritated look to his brother, laughter emerged from the scrawny child. Tapion smiled at this and moved towards the coast. He was met on the sand with the fish slapping him in the face as well. Minoshia had thrown it at his brother. The older stopped moving and stared at his brother, then instantly chased him around laughing. The younger of the two ran away laughing and fell into the sand, Tapion tackled after him laughing.
"Alright alright, lets cook the fish."
The two talked as Tapion made a fire and cooked the fish, splitting it among the two and taking some of his bread out and eating a small bit of it followed by a swig of his cantine water. Minoshia followed suit and the two sat talking with a small camp fire between them.
