Day One: Evening

Day had passed onto night as the alliance continued their aimless trek across the island of Dante. The sun was slipping away, allowing the moon to replace it simultaneously at the other side of the sky. Small glimmering stars shone through the darkening oranges, finally breaking through the powerful daylight.

"It's getting dark," Thirteen observed. "Perhaps we should think about taking a rest."

"Nah, there's still light about," Kami disagreed, furthering their march. "We'll keep going."

"Besides, there hasn't been any sign of Goten," Trunks reminded them. "I don't really want night to come before we find him." The hybrid finished his sentence, and realised something. Although they had been walking for the majority of the day, Trunks' overwhelming fatigue from his earlier transformation had seeped away. "Hey, I don't feel so tired anymore."

"Me neither," Thirteen chimed in.

"I'm-a- fee-eee-lin' goooood, tooo," Garlic Junior sung to the random strumming of chords.

"I'm still feeling tired," Kami added.

"Must be your age, old timer," Trunks joked.

"I think it's more likely that he used a power beyond what you guys used," Seventeen deducted. "As did I. And I'm still worn a bit."

Trunks shrugged his shoulders. "Either way, we're not as helpless as before. Now let's keep after Goten!"
