A feeling of complete rejuvenation overcame the droid?s body, sending a tingle down his spine as it did. For a moment, Thirteen could feel a new range of energy with his body, but the collar around his neck killed that joy really quickly, though it was replaced with the satisfaction of another six hours out of the way.
The announcement of the new forbidden zones came with a heavy cost, it seemed that eight other contestants, including some he knew from Civil Unrest and past quests. It was a strange feeling, to know that they were here and now, within a moments notice, they were all torn from the game, from this devilish plain. Fear suddenly began to swell up with in the android as he though on his friends deaths. It was a very real notion that at any moment, he could join them on that list.
?Let?s move it.? shouted Trunks, giving Thirteen a icy glare. ?We need to find Goten soon, no more stalling.?
Having gone through Red Ribbon Training, the droid wasn?t one to disobey his superiors and the Sayajin was beginning to look more and more like the boss around here. Hopping off his emo train and boarding the flight of sanity, Thirteen hastened his pace to catch up with the rest of the group. Noticing that both Trunks and Garlic Junior weren?t heaving anymore, in fact, they seemed back to one-hundred percent, which was a big relief. Having risked their lives over just one man, the droid hoped that they had learned a lesson on power conservation, but then again, maybe it was him that was mistaken.
?Dudes.? The word had popped right out of Thirteen?s mouth, it was a word he hadn?t said in a long time, so it shocked him quite a bit, perhaps his control over his CPU was getting better. ?I?m sick of all this walking and talking, we need to do something, now.?
?No.? came the voice of the elder Namekian. ?We continue as planned, we must find our other member, then we can, party.?
The Namekian?s tone was almost demeaning to the droid. The anger within him flared up for a moment and as it did, the pigment of his skin suddenly shifted color, bringing a green tone to his flesh. His ears began to extend a bit and become pointed. His mandible also expanded, bringing more teeth with it. Not long after it started, it ended and as everyone turned to the sound of a grunt and an ?oh damn?, they all noticed that Thirteen was no longer in sight and a tall Namekian with a turban and cape stood in his place. Kami?s eyes opened a bit wider, something was off about this stranger.
?God.? spat the unknown Namekian. ?I hate when that happens, someone help me out for a sec, will ya??
No one budged from their spot, but Thirteen understood the situation.
?It?s me, Thirteen, I shapechanged by accident.? explained the guised machine. ?I just need someone to punch me kind of hard.?
Everyone, except Kami took a rather generous step forward, causing the shifted droid to back a few steps away. Each on of the men looked eager to help the droid, after all, who could resist a free punch?
After the deed was done, Thirteen was rubbing his arm, it had been Garlic Junior that had done the deed and a wide and content smile was spread across his face. The little green goblin hurried past Kami and away from the group, but stopped after a few feet, turned towards the Namekian and nodded.
?Ok then.? smirked the eldest contestant. ?Shall we continue than??
