FACE TO FACE: Vegeta, Reijin and Metal Koola (With confirmation to join up)
The two Saiya-jins didn?t travel long, yet the sun appeared to keep moving with incredible haste. ?It?s almost dark?? Vegeta noted from the look of the sun?s position. The sky began to dim and become a mixture of colors. Blue, red, orange, yellow, a sunset of incredible beauty and magnificence.
?Hm?? Reijin stopped in his tracks just as the scouter on his face beeped on.
?What?s the matter?? Vegeta stopped and turned to his Saiya-jin counter part. A second after, his scouter too turned on and both were flashing with numbers and a location of an incoming power level.
?Close?very close.? Reijin said, dropping his pack down to his feet in order to be prepared for their very first battle.
?Yeh, and it seems that this won?t be an easy win either.? Vegeta noticed that the power level his scouter was reading was no doubt one of the highest he?s seen out of the 44 fighters he met up with on the ship. The Saiya-jin king dropped his bag as well and began to stretch out his shoulder muscles. ?Well, let?s get ready then.?
?Agreed.? Reijin began to stretch out his neck and back muscles using a variety of known stretches. The two fighters wouldn?t be surprised if the on comer knew that they were near as well, and currently preparing him or herself for the same fight.
?Look?? Vegeta stopped in the middle of his chest stretch and noticed a dark figure in the distance slowly approaching. The walking speed was normal, yet due to the setting of the sun, his appearance couldn?t be foretold.
?Here he comes.? Reijin stood stead fast as well, and they waited for their opponent to decrease their distance. ?He has balls.? The figure surely saw them, yet never seemed to slow his pace down at all, a brave soul indeed. It was only a matter of seconds until the fighter came out of the shadows and revealed himself.
?Metal Koola.? Vegeta noted. The metallic changeling halted himself only a few feet in front of the duo and exchanged glances. There was no doubt he had been through a couple of fights; due to the noticeable burn marks and other battle wounds that were visible around his muscular frame. He even seemed to be a few short from a full set of fingers, perhaps lost in the heat of battle.
?Vegeta, it?s been a while.? The battle worn changeling spoke up. His voice hasn?t aged a bit, still the same tone as it always has been for years, and years to come.
?Yes it has.? Vegeta scanned the fighter up and down, ?looks like you?ve been able to hold your own though hm?? Koola smirked and looked down at his own charcoaled body.
?Yeh, I think I?ve done well for the first day.? In no way or fashion was the changeling going to admit he was tired from transforming, or in any sort of pain at all; it just wasn?t his style. Reijin glanced over at Vegeta for the confirmation to attack. The king however just stood there with a look of science on his face.
?Come with us.? Vegeta then interrupted.
?Hm?? Both Metal Koola and Reijin grunted with a questionable expression.
?There?s no doubt Reijin and I here could easily kill you in your current state. But I know your fighting style and strength from our previous encounters. I think you?d be more useful to us alive and fighting with us, then dead and against us.? Vegeta smirked towards the metallic being, a friendly approach from royalty to royalty. Metal Koola seemed a bit surprised, but gave it some quick thought before answering back towards the king of Saiya-jins.
?Sounds like a plan.?
?Good.? Vegeta grinned, ?we?ll stay here a bit and allow you to regenerate your energy before we move out again.? The green saibaman dove off of Reijin?s shoulders and aimed for the specially made Dante?s Abyss bag. He tumbled as he landed on the ground and opened up the top to the supplies, echoing off a high pitched snicker. No doubt the little creature was still hungry.
