Day Two: Early Morning
#3
Sadly, it was just like him to fall asleep. Just like the wind, words said were hardly said at all. It was a few more moments past before she reluctantly left his side, though he?d be too deep to notice. She could only shake her head at him and wander a few feet away. Sometimes she just wanted to talk, but there was never anyone else. Even as she bumped into Bardock, and tried to be as friendly as she was able, it didn?t feel?like she wanted it too. The amusing encounter ended with him huffing off and her hands grasping a plushy teddy bear. It was fitting. Little did he know, it was something she needed.

The moon fell steadily, people?s voices softened, and the night life hummed around her. The android did find a place to rest. It was a suitable spot, one that was laden with fresh grass and a tree for shelter. She rested against the tree, feeling its bark against her backside. Her eyelids closed and her body curled. How many others were doing this very thing? Letting the night air lull them to sleep, hoping for a good day, for a victory? She doubted there were many, and likely those who were not so weak were sleeping with one eye open. She clutched the stuffed bear to her chest, her knees were drawn, and her eyes glistened in the moonlight. Even the whispering leaves could not block out that eerie light above. Even if it was not Earth-Sei?s moon, it was similar to it. This place was not so different. The android buried her face in the bear?s furry coat and felt a heaving sensation in her chest, one that could be easily describe as an emotional ripping at her heart. Overly dramatic as always, she couldn?t help but weep a little.

Eighteen was graced with a few hours of sleep. It was good enough; she had hardly done much the day before. She was awoken by the host-man?s voice, his irritating voice ringing words of truth. Deep down inside she knew she?d have to fight both friend and foe alike. What would happen between Raditzu and herself? Perhaps it was a fight that was a long time coming. God knew she had a lot of pent up frustrations she needed to unleash upon him. A pitiful sigh escaped her lips. There was no use, in the end, he would never change. She had fallen for him for a reason, and she would never want him to change, even if his lethargic attitude got to her on more than one occasion.
