They were doing it yet again, talking amongst each other about a past event that the droid had no recollection of. Though it sometimes deemed itself annoying, Thirteen understood that these men had a relationship, one that he could only fathom. Suddenly, something glistened on the ground a few feet from the group of men. Unable to removed his eyes from the object, he crept up on the device and lifted it from the ground. Twirling it through the air, he caught it by it?s hilt and smirked. It was the ki sword that had done some serious damage to the Super Sayajin. Figuring that this would come in handy with his other weapon, the machine-hybrid glanced around the hilt, finding the sabers off button. As the ki dissipated, there was a slight buzzing noise in the sword, perhaps it had been rattled up a bit.
Wanting to rush these guys to finish their chat so they could get a move on, Thirteen decided against it, perhaps this bond would prove helpful throughout the next few hours or even better, days. If they were all willing to die for one another, his chances of survival were greatly increased. Unsure as to how he felt about thinking something so malice as that, the droid found himself wondering if he too would be willing to give the same sacrifice for the team, could he offer his life in exchange for the others to continue on their journey? Thirteen wasn?t sure about it, but one thing he was sure of was that time would only tell.

Rolling his eyes, Thirteen wondered how a fruit such as Karl Jak could run such a violent and deadly game, weren?t all gay people the pacifist type, then again, he wasn?t doing any killing, just organizing it. Making a mental note to try to kill the bastard if he got the chance, the droid was smiling as he turned back to the group, who all gave him a, ?what the hell?? stare.
?What?? asked Thirteen, his voice raising a bit from the embarrassment, maybe he had been thinking out loud. ?What did I do??
?Thinking out loud?? questioned the newly healed halfling, giving a smirk.
It was just as the droid had feared, the alliance had heard it all, or had that? Hoping and preying, Thirteen asked the most dangerous question he had every come across.
?Erm, what exactly did you hear?? his tone was quieter than he would have liked and his face was turning whiter than usual.
?Karl Jak may be the host of this game, but that?s no reason to kill him.? Contested Kami as he joined in on the conversation. ?The fruit, as you call him, explained the game and you volunteered, so get your panties out of a bunch. This is a game, and I expect you to be fully functional, no side tracking, understand??
More relieved than angered, Thirteen nodded and smirked. His plan was to hang with this bunch and then kill them all, the only thing he could hope on is that they wouldn?t catch on, but then again, something was changing within the droid. A feeling of companionship was beginning to grow inside of him, which in this game was very dangerous. All he could do was hope that his emotions wouldn?t lead him astray. He had a goal, a target if you will. He wanted to be champion of Dante?s Abyss, but there was no room for more than one. In the end all but one must die, he knew this, but the tricky question was, could he do it?
