"Soups."
The other, taller majin turned to face him, an irritated but resigned look on his face. "Eh? What the Hell is it, Kibbles?"
'Kibbles' gritted his teeth and chose not to respond to his slave name, as they would have called it centuries ago. Instead, he ignored the name-calling and continued on. "Never mind," he grumbled, picking up the pace. The foliage was not so thick in this particular area, so using his two arm-legs was easier. He was getting rather proficient at using them. Hovering a foot off the ground, his arms worked like tentacles, pulling and pushing him forward.
Soups chuckled/snickered a few times before catching up to him. "Heh, wait a minute. I've been meaning to ask you something, Kibbles." He glanced at Kid Buu before continuing. "This fat guy, Dunham-"
"Dunhan," he snarled. "Why is this so hard to get for all of you? Just because he's fat doesn't mean -"
"- you absorbed him, right?" Soups continued over him. He frowned and scratched at his cheek with one finger. "And your power doubled? That doesn't make any fucking sense."
Kid Buu shot him another look. "That's not how the absorb stuff works!" Super explained. "If anything, taking in that fat bastard should have made you weaker than you were before, not stronger. It doesn't make any sense for you to have, like, doubled." He waved his hand dismissively, looking at his younger appearing counterpart's pained expression. "Eh? What the Hell's the matter with you?"
"Nothing," Kid muttered, shouldering his pack with his upper set of arms. The fact that Super Buu, a later product, an impure puttalin creation knew more about the secrets of their bodies than he himself did irritated him to no fathomable end. "Look, ah," he started after a few moment's awkward silence, trying to make himself appear more genial - he didn't want to be the first target when people started backstabbing. "Do you ever, I don't know, dream?"
"Dream?" Soups frown deepened into a puzzled scowl. "You sure you didn't lose too much blood, Kibbles?"
Truth be told his missing leg did hurt, but not enough to cause hallucinations. "Yes, I'm sure," he replied tartly. "It's just that I had the strangest dream while I was sleeping last night." He reached into the waist of his pants and pulled out his packet of cigarettes. He was running low. He took one and replaced the plastic wrapped box of deathsticks, lighting his with a flicker of ki from his finger. "Floating, you know, in space. All alone, except for this weird voice. He almost sounded familiar... The sun did too - not this one - it was blue." He puffed out a small plume of smoke. "... Do you ever hear voices in your dreams?"
Super Buu gave him a weird look, almost... Concerned. "Have you been drinking again, Kibbles?" He growled.
"Only a little bit... Forget it," he said, seeing that Soups was going to be about as understanding a brother as a drunk was sober. "Forget I said anything."
