Day Two: Afternoon

Drama had once again managed to temporarily inhibit the group?s progress in the form of another spat between Super Buu and Violet. Seventeen snickered slightly?he had only been with the two of them for a little over thirty-six hours and already could deduce that there had to be something between them. Positive or negative, the two had spent a lot of the time that the android had been conscious bickering like an aged married couple. The quarrel the two had was short-lived, and soon enough, Super Buu turned around and cavorted on over to his bit-sized counterpart. The cyborg, who had opted to walk on his own instead of inhibiting Violet, continued to hobble forward at a steady pace?not wanting to lag the group behind as they trekked onward.

Slowly but surely, the android knew that something ominous was looming on the horizon. With the number of danger zones increasing at a scary pace, it was only a matter of time before Civil Unrest would be caught in another encounter. Seventeen glanced over the warriors who were in front and beside him. All of them were unique in some way, shape, or form, but that didn?t mean all of them would be able to stand their own. With the addition of Minoshia and his brother, however, the cyborg felt slightly relieved. The android recalled the terrifying statistics he got when he first encountered the younger Konat, so Seventeen could do nothing but be relieved that the two had agreed to wander with his allies and him.

Goku Junior, the tiny saiya-jin youth that the machine-hybrid had taught how to fight and fly back on Earth, was prancing around up ahead. He still had that youthful, childish attitude that made everything seem like some type of game. On the other hand, the cyborg had never really taken the time to analyze the kid?s nature, so it was quite possible he was covering up his underlying fear by trying to lighten the mood. Seventeen sighed?Violet had bandaged his wound once again, and it was still bleeding slightly. Even worse, the sun that had been glaring down upon them the last few hours was slowly starting to set. Small fingers of purple?the first signs of twilight were beginning to creep over the horizon. Their presence meant that the second day of Dante?s Abyss would soon be drawing to what seemed to be an anticlimactic conclusion. Seventeen sighed once again when he realized that he shouldn?t think thoughts like that in the event that the group fell under siege later in the evening.

With the rocket launcher slung of his shoulder, the raven-haired warrior fed of a small burst of adrenaline and skipped a few steps forward. The sudden burst allowed him to catch up the largest concentration of people in the traveling party. Violet, Kid Buu, and Super Buu all turned back and glanced at the man for a slight moment before turning their eyes back to the path in front of them.

?So all this walking sure is fun,? the taller of the two pink monsters grumbled. Seventeen smiled slightly, his mind finding it somewhat funny how the bubblegum-colored golem could still be in the mood for a fight after what had happened yesterday. Then again, the cyborg had come to accept the magical entity as being someone who seemed to crave fighting and action at every turn. It wasn?t the healthiest of addictions, but the android knew completely that Buu was capable of handling himself. After all, the Majin had breezed through Lord Vine?s training in a rather short period of time, and Seventeen had yet to even start his official tutelage. With a sigh, the machine-hybrid turned back to Goku Junior and smiled faintly.
