Day Two: Afternoon
#20
How Bra had managed to avoid breaking Bardock?s jaw throughout his ridiculous lecture was as much a mystery to her as it must have been to any onlookers. It was no wonder, then, when encouraged to push the coal eyed saiyan, that the princess capitalized on the chance to make him hurt. The tree he collided with splintered and cracked under the impact, eliciting a dark smirk from the cyan haired girl. She hoped it was agonizing.

Still, Bardock?s words hit the girl hard. It was as though he said everything with an air of experience, of expertise, as though he always knew exactly what was going on everywhere at any possible instance.

Always right. Except for one thing. Bra wouldn?t let her friends die. Not again. All she wanted to do in this horrid tournament was search for an object, but, of course, there had to be an obstacle in her way. Now she had to worry about her friends and family, and her own life, just to find some damned object that might as well have been in the center of the sun.

The hybrid watched Bardock move up to converse with his son, and began to dwell on his veiled threat. ?You?ll never get the chance.? with that, Bra formed a kienzan dagger and hurled it through a tree, which toppled over with a mighty crash, as if to punctuate her unheard retort.

?What the fu-? the heiress watched as Raditzu leapt off the edge of the mountain. A long moment of silence passed, followed by an excruciating-sounding crash. Bra shook her head. ?Tch,? she froze, eyes wide. ?Fuck!!? she cursed, realizing what she had just said.

The time she?d spent inside the Room of Spirit and Time had been extensive, but the girl sincerely hoped he hadn?t made any sort of mental impact on her. Growling at her own mistake, Bra trotted up to the edge with everyone else.

?Hey,? she greeted, catching the blond android?s attention. The woman still had that radiant glow about her. ?You sure he?s not... like-? the halfling quickly stopped herself; asking if Raditzu was mentally challenged didn?t seem like the most polite course of action. ?So, like... ugh... forget it.?

Bra simply charged down the side of the mountain, leaving the others behind and rapidly catching up to Raditzu, who had occupied himself with what appeared to be a scorpion. The young empress came to a halt beside him, still having to crane her neck to look at the warrior.

?The hell?re you doing?? she demanded. Raditzu looked back down at her and flashed his trademark, idiotic grin.

?He looks like he?s trying to block the way.? the long haired one observed. The scorpion had it?s claws up, ready to defend itself.

?It?s a bug.? countered Bra.

?A poison bug. With armor.?

?It?s a bug.? the girl repeated. Raditzu frowned, disappointed. With a dissatisfied grunt, the pure blooded saiyan wound up and punted the scorpion into the distance, causing it to disappear in the sky.

?I even named the poor guy.? he said, dejected. Bra rolled her eyes; Raditzu was quite possibly the strongest person to ever walk the galaxy and here he was, acting like a child. She would never understand that about him, and somehow, she gathered he didn?t want her to know.

?You named him?? the teal haired girl hazarded, knowing the conversation could only take a turn for the worse.

?Yeah. Pinchy McGrabbem.? Raditzu replied, his face as neutral as it ever could be. Bra, on the other hand, had nearly tripped over the rock behind him. It wasn?t possible. No sentient person could possibly be so stupid.

?Pinchy McGrabbem?!? the princess exclaimed, repeating her previous question. ?Are you insane?!?

?I already answered that. And what?s wrong with Pinchy McGrabbem?? the long haired saiyan retorted. ?I spent a lot of effort thinking that name up.?

?You?ve only been down here a minute longer than I have!!? Bra shouted, actually getting worked up over such an unimportant argument. The others were drawing near, and the sound of footsteps filled the air. ?You know what? I don?t care. Name it whatever you want.?

?You get upset too easy.? Raditzu grinned, leaping further down the mountain. The princess blinked, suddenly. He was screwing with her! She cursed, louder this time, and made after the saiyan.

Bra planned on giving the saiyan a firm slap upside the head when she tripped over a rock, crashing hard onto her chin, and completely derailing her plan of attack. She groaned in embarrassment, knowing someone would choose an inconvenient time to bring this up sometime in the near future.

?Fucking Pinchy.? she scowled.

OOC: Heh, it's cool, Bar. Just remember, Bra's usually a lot more short-tempered than that. Tongue
