r = number of PCs already in the race category you're switching to.
(r x 5) + 25 = n.
All stats minus n = new stats.
If the new stats are lower than the minimum starting stats, the switch is not allowed.
Like I said when I posted the idea, this is just an example for the stat penalties. I still want to see what you and Murasaki would change about it.

Upon looking back, the line that said '-5 to all stats for each member of the race you?re trying to join as' was a little ambiguous, so I can see where you got confused. It would only affect the person switching, at the time of their switch. Does that explain it for you?
As for the being in the RPG for a certain amount of time issue, if we use the rule "If the new stats are lower than the minimum starting stats, the switch is not allowed," then we won't have to worry about that problem.
