Types of Battles

The idea with the ?Choose your own adventure? is that we could have turning points in the battles, specifically sieges and takeovers. At one point in time BJ or whoever is moderating the situation will PM each of the respective leaders with a some options as to how they are going to proceed. Depending on which choice both parties make will decide what kind of gain or loss they receive.

An example:

Team A is trying to take over a Fortress held by Team B, they get to one of the turning points in the battle and both sides are positioned with three choices.

Team A?s choices are; Storm all sides of the fortress, Attempt to drive straight through the front, and use spies to infiltrate and weaken the enemies defenses.

Team B?s choices are; Increase the strength of the sentries currently on guard, Place all the defense at the frontline, and tighten up security.

As you can see if one side makes a wrong choice, they can lose greatly. Though at the same time it will give them great gains if they make the right choice. Obviously the choices won?t always be this simple, and sometimes there may only be 2 choices for each side. But it?s an interesting use of strategy, and can be used to play your strengths and your opponent.

Sort of like rock, paper, scissors. Nice. Now, what would happen should a team get attacked by two people simultaneously? Would their options still be the same, or would you modify them according to the situation?
