What I mean to get at is simply that Goku would pwn Pre-Crisis Superman like all the other ones. Even the link you gave me said Pre-Crisis Superman would be the only one to seriously challange Goku. That meaning the author himself didn't find it likely for Superman to win.

Likewise, the author didn't really know what he was talking about. He simply posted a whole lot of variations, so he looks correct. Trust me, I've talked to many, many people about this. One of the most common errors is overestimating Goku's ability, and downplaying Superman's.

Incorrect, that is hardly valid enough to be of any merit. Goku still holds on to being faster, until you can prove to me otherwise. I could merely say that Goku is 100x better than he is at any point in the show and that the manga drawers simply made him 'take damage' and 'look beaten' because how fun is it to watch a show where the Hero faces no damage, no challanges.

Goku is NEVER mentioned as going the speed of light. Never. Superman has been known to go faster than this in space. The only reason he never does it on earth is because he doesn't have a self-canceling aura like the Flash does to negate the effects he would have on the environment. That's it.

Either way, at best you come out with a stalemate. At worst, I am still waiting for your proof.

Your "proof" is easily pissed on and contradicted. But don't worry. You're in great company. There are a bunch of folks on a little site I like to call Gaia Online that believe the exact same errors that you do.

My point exactly. He'd just run head long at Goku think hes some pwning machine--and Goku would absolute pwn him. Just because someone is uber-strong doesn't mean they are uber-smart. Goku has years of combat experiance against Martial Artists masters of all calibers and all spieces. I think he know how to deal with a Man of Steel, far better than vis versa.

I don't care how fucking smart Goku is. Superman has a hyper-photographic memory. He has analysed every possible combative technique he has ever experienced. Even based off simple instinct, he would kill Goku. Easily.

Besides, Goku has never gone up against someone who could kill him, literally, in a single breath.

Its just stylistic of the people who draw Goku to make him like he is, when in reality he is actually 1,000,000x better and would never allow himself to be hit if not controlled by evil manga drawers.
