Memories flooded the saiyajin?s mind. The pain, the agony, the defeat, all the feelings centered around his rival, Raditzu. The royal-blooded saiyan opened his eyes slowly, looking at the battlefield. A long-haired humanoid jumped and rolled across the battle-field, fighting a couple of changelings.
The long-haired warrior screamed in a feral rage as the changelings began to charge menacingly. His name was Raditzu. Vegeta remembered him?the royal-blooded saiyan and the other warrior were rivals. They fought a number of times, the victor not being decided once?
The saiyan snapped back to reality, looking at his rival, which stopped, standing still in front of the changelings. As the dust settled, small debris began to lift into the air.
Chunks of rock surrounding Raditzu began to swerve around the saiyan, rotating through the air. The dust, once settled, began to fly into the air once again, causing the aura of the warrior to glitter in the rays of sunlight.
As the energy intensified, Raditzu?s hair began to glow. A golden colour surrounded him, causing Vegeta to cover his eyes quickly.
As his rival, Vegeta knew that he was no match yet, as he had not achieved the power of the saiyans, and never became a super-saiyajin?As the dust settled, a golden-haired warrior stood in the place of Raditzu?The muscles bulged, an aura of power surrounding the body of the saiyan.
Vegeta closed his eyes. He couldn?t fight any more. The battles that preceded this were far too hard.
As he opened his eyes, Raditzu looked at the royal-blooded saiyan, firing energy blasts to one side.
?So you?re letting me have all this fun by myself? Tch, you?re such a loser?? the long-haired super saiyan turned back towards his enemies, frowning.
Those words traveled deep into his soul. His rival, which has achieved the ultimate transformation before the prince himself, was a mere low-level warrior?a commoner. The saiyan opened his eyes, looking at his fists. Blood covered his fists, and for the first time in ages?it was his.
?I?I won?t let you over-power me again!? Vegeta screamed from the tops of his lungs, catching the attention of the long-haired warrior. As the saiyan clenched his fists, causing a white aura to surround him, he closed his eyes, concentrating.
The saiyan?s body lifted into the air, landing upright.
I?I must?I must achieve the transformation. I?ll never give up to you!
The saiyan grunted, concentrating further, trying to achieve the form of super saiyan. Raditzu turned towards him, firing energy blasts in all directions, hitting all the changelings which surrounded him.
?Hey, stop trying, it doesn?t work that way. Only losers would think it?s that easy.?
The aura surrounding Vegeta dissipated as soon as he heard the words his rival spoke. He fell on his knees, looking into the blood-drenched ground. It was too much. He ended up trying to be as good as his rival, instead of being more powerful than him.
Something changed. His hate intensified, the aura of a true saiyan surrounding him. The pure white began to be tainted by yellow sparks, which popped into the air, crackling back to the ground.
?Tch?? Raditzu sighed before turning back to his opponent.
A wild wind surrounded the two, dust lifting into the air. The aura, once pure white was completely tainted golden. Vegeta grinned, his veins bulging, along with his muscles. The long-haired warrior turned towards his rival, looking with his eyes open wide.

A wall of energy flew from the royal-blooded saiyan, throwing Raditzu flying back into a piece of rubble. A couple of changelings jumped into the field, their bodies being thrown farther, with their necks cracked, and wounds bleeding.
Vegeta grinned, closing his eyes and screaming ferociously. The golden aura dimmed, letting other look at the saiyan. The shirt he had been wearing tore, causing his muscles to show, veins bulging. He tilted his head back, the hair flickering a golden color.
His hair swerved through the air, beginning to spike and stand on end.
A final scream tore through the air as the aura dissipated, Vegeta standing in front of his rival?a fully powered super saiyan.
