The difference between a roleplayer and a place holder
#18
I'm with Krillin on this one, too. Sometimes, you just don't have any creative drive to write sometimes. You know it will come back, but sometimes, you just can't come up with anything, or you're just tired of roleplaying at that time. I'm currently in a position where roleplaying is something I still enjoy, but there are other things in my life I have to, and would rather keep up with. Not to say I don't understand where you're coming from, but it's not fair for the people who have been that character for a great deal of time to lose it, simply because they were unmotivated or busy. People tend to attach to their character after they've developed them enough, because they put parts of themselves into that character. I would NEVER want to give up Twenty, simply because of how much I've put into him. If another person came along, said I wasn't active enough, and tried to take Android 20 and then turn him into something like the cliche "mad scientist" like he was in DBZ, I would be a few levels above pissed off.
