DA: C Official Sign-Ups and PS Information

[Grandpa Gohan]

The elderly figure known as Gohan wandered through the city. The smug little man heard the noise of thousands of people roaring about; then as he slowly approached the crowd, he could see that it went on for quite awhile in front of him. Gohan slowly began to wander through the crowd, weaving through the long maze with amazing ease. After a short while of ?bobbing and weaving? through the long line of clearly ecstatic people, why they were so excited he didn?t know yet, but he intended to find out. Everyone was going into a building, yet no one was coming out. As he wandered forth into the building, the blandness of everything was depressing.

After a few moments of waiting he finally approached a desk, a blonde woman with bags under her eyes, and obviously frustrated was his receptionist.

?Might I ask what?s going on?? Gohan asked almost timidly.

?You don?t know? The Syntech Corporation will be hosting its latest installment in the fighting reality shows, Dante's Abyss: Conquest. Though it holds the same name as the popular fighting tournament, this is a stand-alone contest.

DA: C will feature thousands of fighters, from all walks of life. They will be placed in armies based off their skills, personalities and lifestyles. They will then, in short, fight to the death. The last army standing wins.?

After the rather long-winded explanation, Gohan decided to go with it; ?So where do I sign up??

?Where do you think you are? This is a registration desk, Ill be taking down your information.?

?Ok? Replied the elderly man, in his usual smug mood he just let her attitude roll off his back and proceeded with the registration.

?Name??

?Gohan?

She scribbled his name down on the registration form, ?Show me some of your abilities.? she trailed off, uninterested in what she was about to see.

The time worn man began to gather his ki into the palms of both hands, a spark of golden light slowly appeared from limbo and started shining, he gather enough of his energy to do a small presentation for the woman, as he rose his arms above his head, the light ball began to grow.

?Masen?? he trailed off.

After a few moments he thrust his arms forward, ?Ko!? and a golden yellow stream of energy poured forth from his hands, and into a desk in the distance.

??Yeah? Anything else?? Muttered the woman, the woman?s? attitude was starting the wear on Gohan?s nerves, which wasn?t something easily accomplish, probably the annoyance of her voice made it worse and the thought of frying her was suddenly seemed to become more and more plausible.

After muttering something under his breath, he placed his index and middle finger upon his forehead. Not feeling as motivated as he was before, he quickly got on with the demonstration. Again, the glow of Gohan?s energy started to flow about his fingers.

?Special beam? cannon!? Gohan announced and again he drove his limb forward, shooting the energy forth, hitting the same point on the desk that he had hit before, pushing the desk out of place.

?Okay? The woman muttered and handed a thick folder of papers to Gohan and directed him left towards the teleportation tube, ?Go in there and you?ll be transported to the meeting grounds, read the rules and try not to die in the first battle?.

Gohan did as he was instructed and took one last look at the crowd of people, then stepped in.
