OOC: Alright, I've been given permission to role-play as Gokua, since staff seems to be a bit busy to update my change, so please don't be alarmed.

The majority of the collected people in the lounge were socializing; a meaningless thing, considered a chore in the swordsman?s eyes. Socialization was neither needed nor necessary, for this was a competition, and befriending an opponent would prove to be a hurtful thing on the field of battle. It was complete rubbish to talk to enemies. An epic battle was going to take place between the structured factions, and the silent alien was solely concentrated on that and that alone. There was no time to run about ? just to make friends.
Gokua sat at the bar in the corner of the lounge, hunched over a shot of liquor. He was the type of man that would get piss drunk and then run into a fight, yet still be deemed victorious. He slowly jingled his shot-glass around as his eyes stared blankly at the contents inside; some rum mixed with some gray goose; some potent shit. As he stared at the glass, the only thing he saw was himself in the gleaming reflection. He saw minute remnants of his life that had been wasted drinking and smoking marijuana. He had been throwing his life away ever since he was discharged from the military. God damn benefits didn't served his addictions any good. Hell, they didn?t serve a sober man well either. The benefits he was given were almost worse than the salary of a fast-food employee, except he was given free life benefits and a life free of brutal taxes.
He brought the glass to his lips and slowly sipped away some of the alcohol. He wasn?t drunk ? yet, but was intending on at least getting a bit tipsy before he was drafted, which he anticipated on being sooner, but the commanders were thinking otherwise; their concerns elsewhere. He slowly placed the glass back on the table; the contents inside were no more.
?Would you like another, sir?? the bartender asked as he slowly finished cleaning out another glass and placed it on the rack. ?Well?? He looked at the alien, but his vision of Gokua?s face was clouded by the tarnished cloak that he wore.
?No,? the alien replied as his sapphire eyes struck silence in the bartender. ?I think I?ll be alright for now.?
?Well ok,? the bartender replied as he began to tend to another drunk costumer. ?You?re the boss.?
