Bored once again, Yamcha sat on his seat drinking flavored water and snacking on a bowl full of pretzels he had gotten from the bar. The people in the room had changed a little bit. Some new faces had shown up, and some people who were there were drafted, as they called it.
Yamcha began to wonder what his new friend Retane was up to. He also tried to figure out what Syntech was, he had heard the name mentioned to Retane as he was speaking to an alien right before he left.
After a few minutes he figured it was nothing important. ?Just one of the armies Mr. Retane told me about probably, no need to worry.? he said reassuring himself that his friend was fine, for now at least.
As he continued to sip the water he grew tired of the taste and decided it was time for something new. Yamcha rose to his feet and walked to the bar, he sat down on a stool and was greeted with a smile ?Hey there, what can I get you buddy??
?What do you have?? asked Yamcha as his stomach began telling him hat he was hungry.
?Why don?t you take a look at the menu and let me know??
?Okay, sounds good to me.? Responded Yamcha as his salivary glands began to moisten his mouth. The bartender handed him the menu, and when Yamcha opened it, it revealed a vast selection of meats and wheat and substances he had never laid his eyes upon before in his life, but each cause him to salivate more and more.
Yamcha?s head suddenly began to pulsate, and it felt as if someone was attempting to tear it apart. He saw multiple images flash, and heard a loud screeching noise in both his ears. His muscles began to twitch involuntarily and then it all suddenly stopped.
?What the hell was that all about? You okay little guy?? asked the bartender who had leaped over the bar to aid the human.
?Yeah, I think I?m okay, I don?t know what that was it has never happened before.? responded Yamcha who was confused.
?And your still gonna fight?? the bartender was still speaking with a tone that allowed concern to be heard in his voice.
?Of course! That was nothing, I?m fine. Can I get these things you call fries and a umm?vanilla milkshake please?? said Yamcha while giving him a cheesy smile and attempting to change the subject.
The bartender chuckled ?Coming right up.?
As the man walked away to prepare Yamcha?s fries and milkshake, the human sat staring at his hands wondering what was going on, and trying to figure out what had just happened. No matter how hard he tried to make the bartender believe it, he knew something was wrong, something was really wrong.
