A wall.
And upon it, a saiyan.
Celipa leaned impatiently against a plain white wall, her eyes closed, and her arms crossed. She had segregated herself from the hustle and bustle of the obnoxious crowds, and much preferred this solitude.
"Would you be Celipa?"
Her eyes snapped open, and there was a man standing about a foot in front of her, standing up straight in a military fashion. He was african-american, rather strongly built, and had an ammunition belt wrapped around his upper torso.
"Yes, I would be Celipa. Who's asking?"
The man ignored her question, and instead shifted to his next point of business in a very robotic manner. "You have been drafted by the United Forces, and will now be putting your talents to use in our army," he spoke without averting his eyes at all, they stared forward, but not at Cel. Never did he make eye contact, his eyes were far off and distant.
"Yeah, alright," agreed Celipa, shifting her weight back onto her legs as she pushed herself from the wall. "I'll do it. Where do I go?"
The man's arm shot out, rigid and orderly. He really was a military man. Celipa nodded in thanks and strode off to the teletube he had motioned towards. She took a step into it, and vanished in a swirling blue light.
Was the inscription on the bottom of the teletube, on it's base. Just as it was Celipa's destination.
