[O] Arriving at Sanguine Castle
#3
OOC: As a heads up, the last few paragraphs of this roleplay are a speech. The creation of new paragraphs is meant to reduce girth and add fluidity.

It had taken a while to devise, but the onyx-haired man was completed with a greater portion of the planning work for the contest. Using the initial warriors he had received into his bunker, Seventeen had designed what he considered to be a suitable hierarchy and division of soldiers. Just when the android was almost relaxed, the producers of the show decided they were going to teleport him to a new location.

The brevity of the teleportation process terminated with Seventeen standing in the courtyard of a mighty castle. From his ground-based vantage point, the cyborg could depict four stories to the massive structure, but what caught his attention the most was the balcony on the top level.

Peeking over the sea of people that had accompanied him to the castle, it took the machine-hybrid all of five seconds to realize that he was looking at his entire army. It was starting for the android to see his ranks go from a little south of ten to two thousand in the blink of an eye. Then again, by this point in his life, Seventeen understood that he needed to be less surprised at the insane happenstances that transpired on a daily basis.

?Everyone!? Seventeen shouted, cupping his hands around the sides of his mouth to simulate a megaphone. The cybernetic warrior scowled when he realized that all the noise and idle banter in the contained area was making it difficult for him to garner the attention of all the soldiers.

?Shut the hell up!? The ungodly scream was enough to partially deafen Seventeen, who was standing only a handful of feet away from Super Buu. The bubblegum-colored monstrosity smiled when the entire group of warriors fell silent following his sonic boom of a shout. Flashing a warm smile to his ally, the machine-hybrid jumped off the ground and proceeded to do nothing but prove that he has a pretty decent vertical jump.

?Damn it,? the android muttered. After a moment of hasty contemplation, Seventeen dashed over to Super Buu, with a plan clearly on mind. ?Throw me toward that balcony,? the cybernetic warrior requested. ?I forgot these damn collars inhibit flying, so I need to get to a higher location some other way. Even if you suck at throwing, I should be able to orb the remainder of the distance,? arching his brow in confusion, Super Buu elicited a laugh.

?If you say so,? he said, putting one hand on the collar of his leader's coat and another on the android's belt. ?Seventeen a go-go!? Buu bellowed, spinning around once before launching his cybernetic leader toward the balcony on the fourth level of the castle. A chorus of bewildered gasps filled the courtyard, and the soldiers were further amazed when the man soaring through the air exploded into a brilliant array of blue and white light particles.

A split-second later, Seventeen materialized on the stone terrace with the same amount of flair. From the balcony, the cyborg could easy address the multitude of men, woman, and things that had been drafted into his army. Despite being four stories up, the android was still able to pick out the individuals within his forces. He could spot a few of the warriors he had met in the bunker milling around in the masses, and a bunch of new faces that he could not wait to get to know.

?Can everyone hear and see me, or do I need to get my puttalin megaphone up here as well?? Seventeen asked, talking as loud as he could without sounding like he was screaming incessantly. The resounding ?no? that followed left the android to wonder if they could actually hear him, or whether or not they were just intimidated by the loudmouthed Super Buu.

Either way, the machine-hybrid felt a new breed of confidence welling up within him as he stared down at his forces. Motioning down to the courtyard that he needed a moment or two, Seventeen pulled a folder out of his trench coat and rifled through it until he located a piece of paper covered in barely coherent scribbles. The paper was the fruit of the android?s contemplations and scheming.

?First and foremost,? Seventeen began, pausing a moment to clear his throat before continuing. ?My name is Seventeen, and I would like to welcome you all to the Outcasts. I want you to take a moment to look around at the beings that surround you, because they are from this point forth your brothers-in-arms. We have been assembled here because we are different in some way, whether it is mentally, physically, or otherwise. For instance, I?m an amnesiac who?s partially inorganic, and I have friends here who are giant, bubblegum-colored monsters that turn things into candy.

?Nevertheless, I look to all of you as the cr?me de la cr?me. Those other armies out there may shun you all for being different, but I embrace the insanities, inanities, and uniqueness that I know each and every one of you brings to this table. I don?t judge, because I know I?ve done some terrible things in my life, fought with mental disorder, mutilation, and suicide. It would be hypocritical for me to look down upon any of you, so I hope you hope you won?t look down on me.

?I?m going to recess soon, but I?d like the following people to know I will be talking to them at some point in the coming hours: Super Buu, Mr. Cell Junior, Koola, and Kakarot. With that point aside, I wish you all the best of luck and am going to retire to my chambers for an hour or so. Just remember, death to the enemies that would dare attempt to judge any of us,? after pausing for a moment to smile, the android ended his speech with one final line. ?Long live individuality! Long live the Outcasts!?

The comment elicited a large applause from the audience, which filled the cyborg will a feeling of glee. Although he was unable to tell what percentage was applauding and hollering praise, Seventeen nevertheless figured that he would be able to reach out to the rest of his soldiers in the coming days. As the applause died down and his army began to file into the castle, the android turned around and entered his throne room.
