Everyone waited outside Croix Noir for Commander Lucifer to signal for the gates to open. It would be a beautiful ceremony that would spark them all and given them to the will to win, which was something they needed after being left in the dark for so long.
But to everyone's suprised, a green-skinned man stepped forward on the balcony. He raised an elegant hand.
"I will be your commander!" He bellowed for the huge army to hear. "And I will say what you have been waiting to hear...Open the gates!"
Cheers arised from the dark, murder-loving crew. They didn't know if they were cheering for a new commander, or the start of a bloody competition.
It didn't matter. The 2,000 troops had a leader now. A leader who spoke to them.
"To Victory!" Zarbon shouted above the cheers. "To Syntech!"
(Zarbon's coup de tat is successful. Lucifer is in the jail)
