Graciously accepting the bottle of hard liquor from the wizened man, he nudged his thumb towards a free seat on the log. The old man knew his stuff, bringing him something from long before even his days. Cold took a long swig from the bottle, passing it back to the old man expectantly. He didn't hesitate, there was no reluctance in how he carried himself despite his ages above them. He still remembered how to party, taking the bottle to the head and draining all but an indiscernible amount. The old man could hold his liquor, that was for sure. King Cold chuckled as the old man slumped down next to him, patting him on the back.
"You're alright old man. You're alright.." But then he noticed someone curled up down the bench, what looked like a tear drifting down one of his eyes. Upon closer scruntching of his countenance he could see it was a child. Although he wasn't really good with kids, he'd decided that he'd seen enough. Not only was it a child on the battlefield, but a crying child who leapt up and walked about the fire--probably twice, before setting off in any particular direction, a well-concealed furor in his heart. As he brushed past Cold the changeling called out to him, "You alright...?" he wanted to say 'homie' because he knew the youngsters well enough to know they were into these things.
"Come on over here kid, let me let you know something." Cold sat, offering the konat-jin the seat. All eyes were upon the kid then and there, as he stood torn in between Hell and what would be Hell. Cold could almost tell what he was going through, it was as if it rubbed off on him in all of its passion. "Because I've seen Hell, and trust me. After we create it here, I'm gonna have to return to it."
Whether the boy would come was of his own accord of course, Cold could only do what was in his power to show the youth what it meant to dominate on all fields. Those who needed a bit of knowledge usually sought out those who could relay it, one way or the other.
