retane's actually a talented writer and what it all boils down to is what Burter thinks is the best read. For all we know Reijin could have one bad post and Retane could blow us away with the best post we've ever read...there's not telling until it begins.
Power level wise, Retane would be cleaned off the map with ease, but since power level plays absolutely no part whatsoever in this game, then I'd say it's pretty evenly matched.
I do enjoy Reijin's writing, but it's not exactly my favorite, so I'm not inclined to say that Reijin will win...i've seen some great things come from both parties, but we all need to at least support Retane for stepping up and doing something exciting rather than everyone bash on him.
Besides, Reijin vs. Retane...I'd love to see that match anywhere...
EDIT: Though retane, I'd suggest if you beat one of them that you wait a little bit before trying another...running the guantlet with those four Sayajins and a konat is suicide.
