?Orders are out??

?Yes sir.?

?Everyone is position then??

?They should be sir.?

?Should be?? Zarbon opened his eyes. Lying back on his cushy throne still, his sight drifted over to the soldier who stood nervously before his might. His hands were placed tightly at his sides; a true blue private. That?s what he liked to see. He smiled. This?annoyance didn?t dither his mood. ?You mean, we haven?t even sent out a messenger yet?? the transformer inquired, his tone shifting to annoyance. The man straightened, his face hardening from the sudden stress.

A knife to his neck. The mutant laughed inside.

?No sir.? His opposite responded, his tone wavering. ?We were awaiting your command on that, sir.?

The transformer sighed and sat up. ?Well, it?s about time we moved anyway. Prepare the forces.?

?Yes sir.? The private gave a standard salute. His Commander gave none back. In a regimented march, he exited throne room, the click of the door echoing in its vastness.

Zarbon sighed. Only three days as Commander, and he was already having problems like this? Clearly, he wasn?t being hard enough on them. Either that or someone else was going a bit too lightly. Groaning, the transformer stood up. He strode towards the doorway, putting power into every step. An impression with every movement. Croix Noir was looking much better now that he was in control. He wouldn?t have trusted it to anyone else.

The transformer beamed as he stepped into the hallway. Soldiers who were nearby gave him a salute. They had learned over just these few days who was in charge in this army. That girl?s brawl had been a fine example as well. Superiors were superior. End of discussion.

He continued along, walking as king.

A man was slouching to his right.

A quick kick to the nads. The wrongdoer fell.

He continued his trek.

For many years, Zarbon had dreamed of something like this. To rule. To be the sole leader of those around him. He had that. The screams of pain behind him reminded him of his supremacy. All this time beforehand, he was worried he would be something terrible. It didn?t seem so awful now. In a world of fools, sometimes cruelty was the only language.

He didn?t ruin them either. He gave them their wine. They earned it.

The mutant continued to assure himself.

?My balls!?

He smirked.

?Sir!? the man from before ran up beside him. He still seemed a tad nervous. Why wouldn?t he be? ?The men from other quadrants of the castle have already met in the courtyard.? He gave his report in the usual, neutral tone. Nothing to upset his commander. ?We should gather in a few minutes. However, this section needs to file out now, sir.?

Zarbon sighed. The messenger twitched needlessly. The transformer wasn?t upset, just disappointed. ?This will ruin my little parade here.?

?I understand, then I?ll-?

?No. Syntech first.?

?Yes sir.? The man gave his usual salute.

The area was emptied in seconds.

The mutant was alone. He stood perfectly still. All was well, but not for long, he realised. Soon, he?d have to put his plans into action. He couldn?t wait too long? Not with other armies pressing him. They'd be here eventually. Evidently, his rule would not last in this peace. He had to act.

?So much for fun and games.? He said at last, giving a shrug. ?Time to lead the march.?

OOC: Short. But there.
