[S][D] Syntech and Dante clash first

[Reijin]

Reijin's assault continued as he charged a quick palm of ki and fired it at her, watching as she swatted the weak balls of ki aside in the air, not realizing that his blasts were only using a fragment of their potential.

He then fired a cluster of six balls at her, blocking her vision as she nimbly stepped through them while batting them harmlessly aside with training. She turned to find him once more in her face, seeing his void eyes fading backwards as he flipped away from her, his feet rising up to catch her jaw before launching her from the ground.

Before she could right herself to land, he sprung off his feet back into the air, twisting around while facing the ground to fire a blast of ki directly at the ground, exploding an opposite slab of rock into the air directly at her.

Throwing her arms around her, the rock slammed into her body before shattering into a thousand shards, bruising her arms before she struck the cold ground. Shaking herself and realizing how serious the matter was, she leapt back to her feet before seeing a large beam of energy strike directly beneath her now leaping form, barely avoiding the loss of her long beautiful legs. She bit down on her lip in the air and chanted her mantra to remind herself that she couldn't give in.

She spun, flinging a bolt of ki back towards him to which he simply clapped his hands and expanded them, reflecting her ki back at her. Her feet returned to their native earth and she slammed her cupped hands together, firing a blast with more power to it. Reijin's palms flashed as his dual ki swords appeared, one black and one gold, one of positive energy and one of the inverse negative. With a rising slash, he split her beam in two and spun to follow it as the two beams washed through a battalion of warriors for both sides.

Turning back to her, he held both of his swords at his sides while smiling. "Where is your true valor? You fight like a little girl!" he chortled, his swords dissolving as he continued to toy with her.

She brought two of her palms to her chest as she glowered at him and they began to glow. She closed her eyes for a moment before her aura flashed white, her eyes seeming to flash with them, and she thrust her hands forward, Multiple beams seemed to expel themselves from her bosom and shatter in the air into a hail of arrows, too small to deflect and too clustered to dodge.

Reijin, however, was once again prepared. He extended his arms while his own aura seemed to expand around him before retreating into two varying fields of energy, before the two merged into a golden and dark weave of positive and negative energy. He held his palms out touching the sides of this energy field as the arrows of ki struck him, absorbing the shards into the shield and increasing its strength.

Eyes slowly flickered open as his smile returned, his tongue popping in the roof of his mouth. "Tsk tsk tsk, little girl... I would have thought you'd know better than to fight a Saiyan on the lone battlefield."

She dropped to her feet and grabbed a large rock, tossing it in her palm a moment like a softball. Giving him a dirty look, she threw it with speed and grace. "The name is Akane Kimidori!"

Reijin's initial thought was that she was throwing another small blast of ki, because after all, who would throw a rock at such a superiour foe? The large rock cut directly through the energy shield and smashed into his eye, causing him to cease his energy field to cup his eye with a gloved palm. It had indeed been a simple rock. "Why you..." he growled, lifting back up to see another series of ki blasts meet him.

Lacking the time to properly erect another Ki Barrier, he simply flared up his aura and charged through it, flashing his Teleportation so that he could appear directly behind her, hopefully catching her off guard. "Lights out, little girl!" he roared, a tiny blade of ki extending along two of his fingers before he brought it to stab at the girl's spinal column, sending an electrical charge directly into her brain and propelling her into oblivion. She let out a gasp, and then finally dropped to the ground, having lost conciousness.

The dark Saiyan stood over her for a moment before turning around, surveying the rush of battle around them. "Lights out... Little girl," he repeated, his dual ki blades extending in his palms.

"My name... is Akane Kimidori!" he heard a struggling voice whisper beneath him. His eyes widened slightly as he turned to look down, seeing her shaking on the ground in a relentless struggle to not give up.

"Will you not just die?" Reijin cried out in irritation, before letting his voice trail off. No. He supposed she could not. She hadn't joined them for the destruction. She had more of a taste for the fight. For the battle itself. Not one blow she'd thrown at him had been a killing strike. She had aimed to subdue him with each attack.

However... Mercy on the battlefield was simply something he could not accept. "I'm sorry that you were thrust into the wrong team, human. Perhaps if you had been accepted into the Dante Forces things would have been different. Unfortunately, you are a Syntech fighter, and have nothing to offer us. Therefore, I must remove you from this ground... Akane," he spoke, acknowledging her battle fury.

Focusing his ki, he aimed at her shimmering hair before a charge of ki rippled through her blade. "Until we meet again," he spoke with finality. Her foot suddenly moved, giving him no warning before it connected with the back of his knee, dropping him in his position in surprise. He let out a small growl of frustration before she leapt to her feet.

"Now will not be the day that I am evicted from here!" she forewarned him.

Before he could rise, she turned, sprinting as quickly as she could into the distance. He charged a blast of ki to fire at her but she nimbly leapt into the crowd, his blast instead blowing a hole through another Syntech warrior. Cursing, he watched for a moment and then rose to his feet. He shook his head, clearing his mind. She would be no consequence to them.

Gazing at the battle, he realized that numerous other Syntech warriors were retreating into the background, granting them the territory to call their own. All was well. Reijin was still not pleased. Akane had escaped him, and he did not control all of Syntech territory. The next time they met, he would solve that issue.
