Retane's Escape?

Retane rolled into the cave system , narrowly avoiding a sniper shot to his neck. When he spun around, he could see a band of assassains heading towards the cave entrance. Without thinking, he turne and took off further into the caves.

Ki blasts hit the rocky walls around him. He flung back a card from his deck and heard the painful grunt behind him. Still, he kept running.

Retane dropped off a small cliff in the caves into a stream. His ankles disappeared into the water when he landed. He could hear nothing else but the water peacefully wading around.

He was alone.

The Namekian had made it ten steps when a sparkle of light erupted behind him. By the time he turned his head to see, the ki blast from the rifle had turned his leg into a burst of purple liquid.

"Aaaagh!" He cursed as he dropped down to the only knee he had left. Quickly, he raised his head. The soldiers and assassains that had followed him began to appear around him in the cave clearing. Ambushed.

He turned on his one leg to see a changling in blue Dante armor, holding the rifle.

"You!" Retane growled, "Are dead!"

The Super Namekian suddenly lept forward, darkness shrouding his form as he let all the rage loose. The Changling's gun was swiped to the left, though it was held onto, and he took a hard hit to the body. The two hit the ground and the namekian, his strength weakening from the shot, raised a hand.

"If I die, so do you," hissed Retane.

His fist went down.

A bright light sparked again. The first was stopped by a new hand.

"Not today," declared the transformed King Cold. "This is from Commander Vejita."

The changling's ki gun erupted again, blowing apart the insides of Retane.






























RESULT

King Cold has earned his x5 transformation. Retane is dead.
