?Do you wish to continue this battle?!? The Saiya-Jin Commander ran his fist through another tower guard. Slowly but surely, they pushed their way up the tower steps. Failure was not only not an option, it wasn?t even a possibility. Fifty tower guards composed the defense against the nearly thousand strong force, which already swarmed the tower in order to kill off the guards quickly.
Broli could only keep his next step in mind. If they were to take Hillside, which was to surely occur, then Vegeta would be next. The Commander of Syntech had done far more than decided to put up a fight. He had insulted the Saiya-Jin?s pride. Vegeta held no respect for the King of all Saiyans, nor a fellow warrior. It was this that disgraced Vegeta the most, inspiring Broli to renounce his offer of asylum. He knew that nearby, his Commander counterpart, Vejita I, was already initiating the final battle against Syntech. Vegeta was their last stand. If he was to fall, so would the Syntech force, or rather, what was left of it.
Really, the Syntech threat had been dealt with in one decisive battle. In a single flanking method, the Commander and Syntech?s Generals were slain or captured. The black-hearted army was crippled, Dante being gracious enough to allow it to crawl back and recover. However, instead of submitting to Dante, Vegeta was arrogant enough to attempt to come back from an embarrassing defeat and retake lost territory. While such an effort would be glorious enough, if successful, no such thing was to occur. Syntech did not stand a chance against Dante. They were outmatched, both in numbers and in strategy. Vegeta simply did not hold the tools at his disposal that Dante possessed, and he had foolishly enough not stood his ground in the safety of his castle. Instead, he waited for Dante to come at Aztec Tower, a place that held no strategic advantage other than the barely-defended tower.
Soon, the once mighty Syntech force would fall beneath the feet of Dante. So close they were.
OOC: Guys in my unit, you don't really need to RP for this one. With 50 guards against a force our size, the tower can't really put up a good fight anyway. So, just mingle for a bit, or throw up an RP if you're really bored.
