Gohan, who had yet to even try and engage in battle yet looked down at the fox mask, he had bought it before the first battle with Syntech, and wore it while he slaughtered many of the Syntech army, including the one who gave him a dagger to the ass. Blood of many stained the old mans hands, all in the name of Dante. This wasn?t going to change; the old human was going to be an unyielding force for Dante.
Slowly he put on the mask, light penetrated into the holes for his eyes. When he was finished it was though he was another person, the opposite of what he normally was. Split personally? No, the masquerade simply released all his inhibitions. He looked over the battlefield, blood was already starting to stain the white snow on the ground, and soldiers of both sides were being extinguished from battle.
Finally the time had come for the old man to join the battle, as if the kitsune mask was his resolve. The old man charged the battlefield, shooting energy balls from his hands, ending people?s lives before he even entered the massacre.
It hadn?t even been that long that the old man had been in battle when he noticed one particular soldier of the opposing force, Syntech. His appearance was that of a normal human, yet he was definitely out of the ordinary. He was quickly dispatching many of the Dante warriors that came his way, swiftly turning their attacks upon themselves.
?Tch, Can?t have that now, can we?? Gramps thought to himself.
Without haste the aged human quickly engaged the young warrior. He instructed the surrounding Dante warriors to find another victim. The two stood face to face for a moment. The war raged on, though it wasn?t apparent to the old man and the much younger looking combatant from Syntech.
?Your name?? inquired Gohan.
?Justinian? he replied, ?Yours??
?Gohan, although it won?t matter for long, I WILL kill you here and now.? The chubby man retorted.
Justinian quickly rushed towards old man Gohan, thrusting his fist forth towards his face, swiftly connecting it dazed the old man for a moment, something Justinian capitalized on, sending repeated blows to the padded stomach. Swiftly he followed up with a roundhouse kick, sending the plump human sprawling on the ground.
After a moment of lying on the ground, the overweight man returned to his feet, dusting himself off and re-adjusting his mask. ?Not too shabby? he announced, praising Justinian momentarily. ?Round two will be much different though.? The short fat man suddenly charged forth, racing in the direction of the human youth.
Stopping just before they collided both of them engaged in hand-to-hand combat, a blur of punches and kicks erupting from both sides. Gohan saw an opening and planned to take advantage of it, quickly grabbing the youngin?s arm, ducking to avoid blow that was about to collide with his face he planted his elbow into the stomach of Justinian. The humanoid almost buckled over in pain, the old man didn?t let up his assault he jumped up and planted his foot on the Syntech warriors head, sending him off flying through the air.
Not even letting the odd humanoid to recover, Gohan lowered himself, his hands at one side, a golden ball of energy erupting from nothing as the old fellow started gathering his ki. ?Its time to end this!? he shouted, his aura bursting forth from nothingness, just as his energy ball did, it began to lick at his body like a forest fire to trees. Gramps shouted aloud ?Masenko!? as he pushed his arms forward, releasing the beam of energy from his hands.
The shaft of light quickly enveloped the young human warrior. The stout man waited a moment, nothing. Gohan was about to engage other soldiers when suddenly a hand grabbed his ankle, holding him in place. He turned and saw Justinian, the top half of his uniform had been burned away and his skin was burned. His arms buried in the ground, and immediately the fat man knew that it was him who held him captive.
?I wont go quickly into the night!? Justinian shouted, his mouth remained open for a moment before his own energy wave came forth from the depths of his stomach, shooting rapidly towards Gohan. It all happened so fast, the old man had been caught off guard and now he was paying for it. The mouth blast hit Gohan hard, sending him off into another Dante warrior.
?Damn! Wasn?t I just here?!? Now angry with himself for letting his guard down the aged human hopped up, a large circular burn in the center of his back was visible. ?An I for an I makes may make the whole world blind, but when I(m through with you, you wont have to worry about it!? Gohan shouted, the air around his body heat up, again Gohan?s aura came into view, burning fiercely about his body. ?Why cant you just die!? He shouted as he rushed the Rubbermaid human again. The two started exchanging blows again. Despite being hit quite a few times, the mask, which was Gohan?s face, was proving quite durable. The two went at it for some time, snow when flying about as the two exchanged blows.
