Death. It curled it's undeniable claws upon the soul of men, to forbid them of dreams, hopes, and everything attached. It was despicable, but was inevitable as well. However, in this specific case, the trauma was settling upon the saiya-jin warrior without remorse. The most destruction form of death had seized Vejita I and had stamped its mark on a member of his own family. His mind was without thoughts however, dumbfounded by the events of this battlefield. The warrior's muscles were impaired of motion and could only flinch with the utmost potential of activity.
Though, his heart was ferociously racing, conjuring beats at a substantially great pace. He was numbed of view upon this chaotic world known as Dante. If he wouldn't be, it surely wouldn't have improved it due to the piles of unneccessary corpses. It was undetermined which could be classified as more revolting; the overwhelming stench or the overwhelming river of blood that moistened the planetoid.
Vejita's nostrils flared while envoking oxygen to cope with this bizarre situation. This type of agony hadn't been located in his existence before; it was almost mind-altering. He was being confronted with all of his known demons, combating at his conscience. Why didn't he assist Bulma? The saiya-jin's daughter-in-law had been mowed down before his vision, and he was powerless to halt this tragedy. Was the drowning murmur of the darkness calling upon Vejita I, to question his reliability to the cause? His thoughts had been surpressed and then suddenly detonated without caution.
His conscience was persistantly confronted, with guilt consuming his very soul. He shielded this female throughout the affairs on his homeworld prior to this competition, and now he had been inefficient in doing so here. This moment, this very second, would eternally be a reminder to him. Even with his daughter-in-law slouching below him in a state of mutilation, and his son battered alongside of him, he was incapable of composing a reaction.
The warrior's knees crouched while burrowing his bleeding fingers into the soil. His eyes were swelling with tears, but not a solitary one rested against his cheek. The digging continued further, but only with an acceptable depth. He placed the lifeless self of Bulma, but his fingers placing a touch upon her face that he was convinced would be his final. A sigh escaped himself, while he settled with the idea of appropriately burying her. The saiya-jin's fingers coursed through the planetoid while chunks of dirt were placed above her.
This wasn't about compassion. This wasn't even about respect. The concept of family was valued by him, whether or not this demonic persona was wielding his body as a tool. She was innocent; only fueled by the commands of her superiors. He could not strike his son, just as his son should have been unable to strike her. For this, vengence was in order. A decision had been presented to him, and one that could alter the warrior forever.
He retrieved a metallic object glimmering below with a slight prickle at it's beginning. He inched himself from the burial with the minimal usage of his muscles he possessed for the general direction of Vejita II and Reijin. The once echoe of his heart beats had repressed, and now only fragments of the once solid object were dismantling from this "decision". His eyes were smoldering through his son with intense judgement. He hadn't even commenced his speech and already his son could predict the words from the expression on the elderly saiya-jin.
"You were given a decision, but just as I was given a decision to fight you. Your blind ambitions chose for you. I gave you morals, love, and everything that I could have ever given you. But I realize now - I made a mistake. An error only in my hands and mine alone; an error in concieving in you. This...darkness dwells and grows inside of me, calling me to murder you to prove my self-worth to its cause: the cause of abandoning emotions. I do not do this for it, but instead, I do what I am about to do because I must. A lesson must be taught. A lesson of values, my dear sweet son. And may your lesson..." He paused while his eyes peered directly for the metallic object. "...be acceptable to the one you butchered. I give you life, and I will give you death. But let the men who have felt equally wronged as I be the ones who join me."
