The words were as a jagged edged sword being edged into King Vejita's heart, already reverted into mere fragments of its former form. The agonizing torture of this situation was constructing itself into unfathomable proportions. These emotions were mysterious to the saiya-jin, unbeknown to him even through his centuries of existence. He had never been confronted with such a decision of this magnitude. Executing his own flesh, his own son, was beyond comprehension to him. In the similar teachings he recieved just as Vejita II had, there was a belief that was imprinted into his mind to outweigh any other emotion that would ever conflict with it. The value of family was significant to the saiya-jin and his father had established that to King Vejita so long ago. Loyalty was reserved as an envious trait, as was confidence, but the value of one's own blood would have always ruled over any other.
This wasn't about vengence anymore; their was nothing in the elderly saiya-jin's abilities to resurrect his daughter-in-law from the bowels of the afterlife. Nothing would ever exchange this vile situation for a substitute of a more positive conclusion. The events of this day were recorded forever in the fabrics of time. Their was no logic in ceiling his own offspring's fate for the sake of vengence. This was his own law; law that had constricted such disasters as this. To neglect one the importance of a loved ones life was shunned upon. However, this decision was spiraling off from one of confidence into a decision of doubt and questions.
Vejita II's voice was entwined with so much emotion that sincerity was almost ridiculous to disprove. He referred to himself as "nothing", and what his son didn't understand was that his father had bestowed a similar belief in his mind. A belief of inferiority based on his miniature level of power. It was disturbing for King Vejita to realize the similarities. His logic was suggesting that perhaps his mentality had been inherited by Vejita II, and an relevation was noted. For years, he had viewed his son as a superior warrior to himself, and he was obviously inaccurate in his suspicions.
His heart was almost demanding himself of relinquishing the tears that were swelling in his blurred vision of his son. However, they were neglected upon and he could only bow his cranium below to the floor of Dante. The warrior's focus had been ensnared elsewhere, but the clattering of Vejita II being repositioned was noted. The warrior's prior decision was being confronted with both options spawning facts, figures, and even propaganda. Imagery of Bulma's mutilated form were introduced and the whimpering which she displayed in the few seconds prior to her demise.
Alongside of this, his own son's plea was enhanced with volume and booming throughout his mind. King Vejita, Commander of Dante, former ruler of Vejita-Sei, and a symbol of political power on his homeworld - was ultimately unable to enact with a decision. The saiya-jin's eyes shifted, observantly stalking Broli and Reijin with the captive Syntech leader intruding upon the tower. He trailed behind them, but with a sluggish pace. Commander King Vejita was still not able to attain control over himself, but was driven solely by passion to discover a decision. Although, the decision had actually been solidified, but only now was embedded with doubts.
The dim shadows of the Aztec Tower was conveyed with Reijin in the abyss of the shadows. Vejita I was aware of his position, but was enthused to have a dialogue with his son. "You...you speak as I did so long ago, Vejita. The pride is still strong in you my son, but only obscured by this...mentality. The blood of royalty runs in your veins; you are destined for greatness that you have yet not realized. In your next life, may you realize that. Perhaps, you will find yourself just as I have found myself." His son was placed on the chilling metallic floor with shackles confining him of his movements. Tears were equally swelling while he stuttered for the words to describe this. "You...you would kill your own son?" He could no longer persist with even a glance at his father, only shifting his eyes to the darkness.
"Your words force only this situation to worsen, but you do not alter my decision in the least. I bestowed upon you what my father gave to me so long ago, the understanding and the value of our family. Brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers - we must all view them with only love and protection. The human girl was your wife, the mother of your very children. They would look down upon you just as I do, my son." The Dante commander's teeth pressed firmly on his lips to almost blockade the tears.
"Even with this growing darkness lurking in my soul, I will say these words to you. My love will always be with you, but may a higher power show forgiveness for you when I do not..." King Vejita crept backwards with the shadows engulfing him wholely. It was Reijin's time now, and with a nod from Vejita I to the super saiya-jin, it was shown.
