Seventeen walked onto the battlefield. He sniffed the air heavily and then breathed it out again, closing his eyes as he did so. This is what he knew, this is what what he loved, this is what he was triumphant over. He knew that his challenger had not yet arrived, as the winner always came out first, but he could hear someone creeping up beside him. The man stopped beside Seventeen, and the two did not even look over to one another. After a couple of seconds of what seemed to be meditating, the two opened their eyes and uttered in unison: "Let's do it."
A battalion of lights and an orchestra of sounds bombarded the two, tyring to hype up the audience surrounding them. There were hundreds of thousands in one of the largest stadiums in the business. This was not the typical battlefield for Seventeen, but it was all the same mentally. There would be punches, there would be blood, there would be victors - and their spoils.
Seventeen was facing off against Yamu, a person he had met time and time again. The two had an odd firnedship. At least, Seventeen thoguht it was a friendship, but when Yamu leapt into Gohan's hands, Seventeen couldn't help but grind his teeth. The two had met earlier, and in an exchange of words, they agreed that they would have a one-on-one match at the second installment of Superpowers.
Pui Pui, or Pi, as Seventeen liked to call him, and Seventeen himself finally entered the ring. They threw their fists into the air, and as they did so a roar of applause rang throughout the stadium, shaking its very foundation. The team's theme song, "Crazy Nights," by KISS, was suddenly interrupted by the song "I'm a Little Teapot," sung by Gohan himself, which meant that Yamu and his sidekick were coming along.
"I want Yamu," Seventeen said to Pi.

"We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl."
