Well, after over a month, the four of us have made it this far. We've got United left to deal with, and I think the fact that they're in the final two has inspired some sort of activity in them.
Unfortunately, I know that we're all burnt out. I've asked you guys time and time again to go all out, to give it your best, even if subpar was good enough for the win. I've asked you to take the time to write not one, not two, but sometimes multiple posts. I've asked you to trust me blindly when it's come to making movements, decisions, strategy, and the like.
So here we are, United against Dante. I won't lie. I'm burnt. I'm beat. I really don't have the motivation in me. The fact that I know Raditzu is going to be an issue for us really frustrates me, considering he didn't do anything all game and now he's suddenly jumping to United's defense. I don't feel much better either knowing that United has literally been in only one fight, if you can call it even that since they retreated and it was Outcast attacking them anyway. They've turtled the entire game.
I guess what I'm getting at is this. We deserve this win. We deserve to win Conquest, regardless of who we're taking on. We've done all the work. Who ripped into Syntech territory only days into the game and demolished their entire force? We did. Who took on Outcast, ultimately defeating them regardless of having to sacrifice a significant amount of our own troops and PCs? That's right, we did. What's United done? What have they done to deserve this win? I don't know about you guys, but I don't want people to look back at this event and say, "Man, that whole doing nothing strategy really worked best."
I want people to know that we deserved this win and that we earned it because of all our hard work. I don't want United to be remembered. I want people to think of Dante. I want people to think of Outcast as being the real opponents. I want people to think of United as the force that huddled in its corners like scared rabbits and waited until the end of the game to actually do anything because they lacked the backbone to make any real actions.
I've asked you guys to do so much, I know I have. But I want this win. I want it so badly I can taste it. I want people to know that when we said we were going to win, we meant it. I want people to know that our efforts weren't worthless, that United and their tactics isn't what mattered.

United has turtled the entire game and has gained 2000 troops because of the fall of Outcast and Syntech, so we're facing up to almost 4000 troops. After our allocations, we'll have just over 3000.
We're outnumbered, both in terms of PCs and troops. I want to say that we've done all the hard work, that all that's left is an easy win. But that's not the case. There is no easy win to this. We've done it 100% the entire game, and we're going to have to keep it at 100% for the rest of it. I want to tell you guys that we can slack off with this, but we can't. I know you're tired and burnt out; I am too. But do this for me. Be active when I need you to be, and I will be too. Find the inspiration to get the posts up when the time calls for it. We've earned this win, so let's go out there and take it.
