It's really boring at the top. This is not an RPG about picking daisies, it's an RPG about an epic power struggle that no longer exists.
I mean, you have to admit that the current system is flawed when sagas are run and the stats are completely ignored. We want the stats to be a reflection of your character, your roleplaying activity and quality NOT a reflection of how long you've been here, as they currently are.
First: @ bulma: So we're keeping our items eh? So what am I to do with my most expensive item (The bio suit)? I'll get to keep that? So Ill start out with a huge power boost and others wont? You guys wouldn't do that, I'm certain, but what then? Would I get compensated for the cost of the suit? I mean really... there's really no applying something like this fairly across the board
@ waff. I know what you guys are trying to do and I support it. Perhaps you don't understand what Im suggesting. Basically, im saying you take all current base ki levels, down size them on a consistant scale conducive to the new system such that those who have earned a higher PL still have some reward for all their work and devoted time. However, you make the conversion such that the "super powers" are reachable within a certain amount of time. Point blank, i dont desrve to be on the same level as rad or rei yet on chubbs. I havent earned it. Whether he wants it or not, he deserves to keep his top power level. What that is exactly, and how far ahead is up to you guys. Just set the conversion accordingly.
edit: @ GG: I understand why staff makes the decisions they do. Im voicing my concerns in order to determine whether I want to stay or not. T
