What are you talking about Reijin? No one objected to your suggestion to fix the problem of RPing from now till the reset. In fact, SB said he liked it and agreed with it. What you guys are arguing about is something entirely different and should not effect what we came up with in the least. Honestly, I don't need to remind you that people are losing a lot more than you are. What about everything that Rad is losing? Even people who've been here a year are losing a lot.

You're essentially saying, "Yeah, that's great and all, but I don't want to lose my stuff." And hey, you may not find any reason to roleplay in the next four months because of that, and that's ok; you shouldn't make yourself write if you have no motivation or reasoning for it. Who's to tell you what your motivation should be, whether it's for rewards or for writing?

Even so, Chubbs will go on, and people who are here because they love to write and who love to be immersed in the stories that Chubbs thrives off of will continue to RP in the next four weeks, the next four months, the next four years, whatever.

I usually always find myself disagreeing with Krillin. But he said something that really holds a lot of truth.

In my eyes, all of the important compensation for my roleplaying over the past two years can't be taken away by a reset.

I hate the fact that you're going to be so affected by the possibility of a reset. I wish you could see it from the perspective that this is what Chubbs needs, that this is going to make it so much better than it already is. I know you want to keep your stats and rewards and whatever else you've received so far and have yet to receive, and I hate that you won't be able to if a reset occurs. I hate that for you, I really do. But you need to understand that Chubbs revolves around something a lot bigger than numbers. It revolves around the imagination of its writers, who are people that simply love to write. Yeah, everyone likes rewards. Reijin loved earning SSJ2. Hellfighter loved getting Rage. But I can say with the utmost certainty that even if they hadn't received those rewards, they would have loved being here all the same. I didn't do The Fight to Regain Vegeta-Sei for some amazing reward. I did it because I'm in love with the story of Broli and evolving him into who I want him to be.

Really, amidst my scatter-brained thoughts, what I'm getting to is that you're just going to have to tough it out. Heck, take a four month break until the changes occur if you have to. Honestly, if so many people are finding themselves with no reason to write in the next four months, then let them say so. Let's see names, not statements like, "A lot of people feel the same." Just realize that Chubbs is something bigger than you. It's bigger than me. It's bigger than Raditzu. It'll keep going, and it'll keep evolving, whether you like it or not, and if that means that people who are in a rewards first, love for writing second mindset get hurt in the process, that just might have to be the case. The saying goes that change is good... but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to like it.
